   We went into Howdens Musselburgh for to select a kitchen with Kirsty On arrival Kirsty was very welcoming and pleasant. Kirsty went onto getting the design of the kitchen on her computer and we talked about the 2 kitchen we had looked at ,Kirsty was very knowledgeable, and very up to date with prices ,size's and value for money in both kitchen ,then we spoke about the flooring once again no fault with all information and choices, Kirsty must be a very good asset to Howdens, as she is very smart , with all information, pleasant, and knowledgeable nd made us so comfortable I will have no hesitation to tell anybody about the experience we had selecting our new kitchen and would highly recommend Kirsty and Howdens

   Ordered (what I thought was) a bespoke bathroom shelving, pipe shaft cover and drawers for my new bathroom for around £1400. The designer was nice but it took them a few weeks from initial enquiry to find time to take on the project, which wasn’t communicated at the start and so it delayed work onsite. Unfortunately upon delivery it turned out it wasn’t a bespoke unit, it was furniture panels for my contractor to cut out and construct shelves with himself. They weren’t even cut to size. Also ‘drawer fronts’ were just kitchen cabinets doors with hinge holes, completely unsuitable. Had to return everything and upon return the front desk staff quoted a different amount (higher) than was later returned, with no communication as to why in between. When contacted to resolve the discrepancy in the two numbers I was repeatedly told the front desk staff did not tell me what they did which was very hurtful and rude as I was there with my partner and we both remember exactly what we were told. Overall a very disappointing experience. I lost a lot of money (about £700 including delivery fees back and forth and things my contractor has already unpacked before realising the shelving fiasco) but more importantly had so much stress on top of the house renovation. I wish they simply hadn’t taken up a project they weren’t able to deliver on. Extremely heartbroken.

   7 years ago bought a kitchen here and the quality was excellent. All the items ordered were delivered the day before we were installing and apart from a couple of small bits all was good. Had no problems throughout 7 years of rough tough family use. Have moved house now and will be buying much needed New kitchen from Howdens. You can mix and match all sorts of items and your installer can get a free design. Only down side is they will only talk prices to your installer/trade person.
