Went to buy a hoover. Outstanding balance after gift card was 12.98. Handed over a £20 note and 2.98 in coins to get £10 back and cashier only gave £8. Challenged this and he was adamant £8 was correct because he had only put in 20 to the till. He then didn’t know how to give the other £2 so just told him to keep it. Didn’t think I’d be having to teach a grown adult basic maths

GO TO THE STORE NOT ONLINE!!!!! 5/5 for instore at edinburgh Craigleith 0/5 for currys online resolution I want to extend my deepest gratitude and commendation to Lynn at the Edinburgh Craigleith Currys store. Lynn has been absolutely brilliant and is the only reason this complex situation has not been completely intolerable. Lynn’s kindness, understanding, and persistence in trying to resolve my online purchase issue has been phenomenal. Despite the item being bought online—which complicates store-level support—she has taken ownership of my case, maintained regular communication, and dedicated herself to getting a resolution. She truly embodies outstanding customer service. Now to my problems: I purchased an xbox ally rog X thorugh finance with the add on of 5 years currys care and repair, it broke and would not turn on and this was within first 30 days of purchase, i returned it to the edinburgh Craigleigh store for an exchange only to find out their was no stock in the uk due to high demand, as i was wanting the item i decided to get the item repaired through the 1st year warranty/5year care and repair program. After two weeks of hearing nothing (currys craigleith Lynn was trying to get information, nothing from asus) it was really frustrating as during the time I was waiting to hear back regarding my device the item came back in store briefly before they all sold out again due to them being so in demand, i was however unable to request mines to be exchanged for a new one in stock due to mines now been sent for repair (i find that abousolutly shocking, if a customers has the care and repair, nothing been heard from the repair team and on top of that im within the initial first 30 days of owning the device and have their care and repair plan I should just be offered the replacement right away! I was orignally offered the items worth in currys vouchers (i would however still be having to pay off the finance), a few days later, asus got back in touch with currys to say that they where wanting to send the item back to there head quarters in Korea and that they would essentially refund currys and currys would refund me though finance and the refund me monei paid towards finance too!. It's now been two weeks since been due the refund,, Due to it being paid for finance online it's harder for the shop to deal with, however that being said, it's not stopped Lynn's efforts in trying to help! I tried phoning the online team for an update as Lynn has been keeping me updated through phone but at all her efforts still has no answer on when i should receive the refund so i did not want to keep popping into the shop and being a nuisance to her they are very busy in the store already!, when i phoned the online team i got someone who did not really seem understanding my frustrations and shocking this situation really is! I have been offered a £20 good will gesture when the refund happens. However as I mentioned previously I have not received the refund, of £919 and not sure when it's going to me in my account. In the mean time I have purchased a replacment again through the finance programme as they came back in store! This time the purchase was in the shop! As if there was any problems (I hope not!!) It would be much easier to deal directly with a purchase from the shop than it would be online. I can't stress enough GO TO THE SHOP, these people will do their very best to try and get a resolution and they can offer better support should you purchase in store! Lynn though all her efforts has a book worth of case file still trying to resolve this even though I in fact bought the item online! This has been over a month now and still awaiting the refund! Again this is no reflection on the store, any future purchases will be bought in store safe to say! Again thankyou Lynn for all your ongoing assistance! Also wee shout out to Lynns colleague Sophie who has had to listen to me complaining aswell! I hope the higher up read this and seriously give Lynn the biggest of thankyous for her professionalism.

Terrible! Arrived in 2 boxes - both damaged because of cheap packaging. Spoke to the helpline and was told I can’t return and exchange in store. I have to wait “up to 2 weeks for a collection” that would then need to be processed before a replacement is sent, so probably 3 to 4 weeks total. Completely useless!

The staffs need training. All I wanted was a screen cleaner. I got the screen cleaner queued at the counter for about a minute. I could see like four staffs on the floor standing like a brick of wall doing nothing but standing like a pole support the building. A manager came over, I moved over for him so he can go past thinking he will serve me. Nope! Went to speak to another staff that is dealing with another customer without even acknowledging me. They say support local businesses don’t buy from Amazon. But this is the last time I will be buying anything from this place. I blame myself anyway. As I could have just press clicked on Amazon and got my other the next day. But I was silly thinking I should support businesses.

Many thanks to staff member James who went above and beyond when we were returning faulty x-box 4Jan23. He patiently tried it all out using store leads, then checked again using leads provided with the x-box and quickly diagnosed the problem was not with the x-box unit but with one of the cables. Friendly, approachable and knowledgeable....this guy is an asset to your company and quickly diagnosed and remedied the problem. New cable £9.99 and off we went- the warranty does not cover for faulty leads unfortunately. . Thank you James. 5/5

Was greeted by a member of staff and had a slightly odd experience where I wanted to know specific information about a product and to find out when it would be back in stock. The conversation didn't really go as I expected and was sat down and given lots of information about other products (that I didn't want) and didn't ultimately actually answer to the two keys questions I was searching for

I really enjoyed wandering around the store looking at products. I needed a fridge freezer. It was very refreshing! All the staff were lovely- friendly and professional. The assistant helped with my choice. Sadly it didn’t fit so I had to return to the store but once again they were really helpful and sorted out a suitable replacement for me without any hesitation even though it was my error

It's okay. They have a range of products to cover any emergency need of technology. But they lack the breadth and depth of products. If you buy something, you're probably buying something that is available there rather than knowing that's the best product for you. It's probably worth checking online, doing your own research before buying what is in store. The staff are kind and professional. I'm giving 3 stars because it was a bit empty for me but might suffice for the average consumer.
