Collected a new air fryer here for my mum. Store was easy to navigate, nicely laid out and the member of staff who served me was friendly. Would definitely shop here again.
There is something not quite right about this store. We’ve bought from here four times and each occasion has been an ordeal just to buy, or pick up, the item. The first trial, is getting served.. all the staff are either rushing around as though being chased by invisible monsters or quite stationary, but ignoring you. The second trial is the staff member understanding what it is you want. Don’t think that having the order number and email from the pay and collect service will help you here, it won’t. They’ll want your shoe size and blood type before they’ll ask for the very piece of information your purchase email says to show. The third trial is the waiting for the item to appear. Take a good book or enjoy the company of those who accumulate behind you awaiting a similar experience. Something just isn’t quite right about this store. Is it as simple as them being horrifically understaffed?
I'd done some research via YouTube prior to buying my new tv and desired sound choices, but was very impressed with the sales chap who was extremely knowledgeable and presented me with various options but didn't focus or push on any in particular. Informative, professional and expert service.
Had a lovely experience at Currys on Saturday, I had a broken laptop and was looking to get a new one, at the same time I was looking at getting the old one repaired, The staff member Scott was super helpful as he sent away my old laptop for a repair as well as help me find a new one that I am already in love with.. he was also patient when I was making my decision and explained the payment options such as buy now pay later that we opted to go with, he even sat down and explained the software I would need to start my university course, the shop manager Charlie even wished me a good day when leaving 10/10 would shop here again, great service
Wanted to return something. There website said take it to any of our stores and we will be happy to refund you. Was told no, we don’t do that. Fill out an online form and take it to Homebase! What! That’s a joke!
Very nice store. Staff are extremely friendly and will help with whatever they can. I went in to return my keyboard and after processing the exchange for a better one I noticed it was not the one I thought it was went back in and was able to cancel and reorder the correct one. Staff member who helped me with it was very helpful and processed everything.
Was Sold a HP Computer with a faulty left speaker, probably going to have to waste my warranty on it to repair it when they could've just sold me a computer with a working left speaker, thanks guys! Also i have a pair of Bluetooth headphones which no longer connect via Bluetooth! That one might not be their fault but thanks again for these great totally not faulty products!
Very disappointing customer service. It took the efforts of numerous staff more than 30 minutes and a repeat visit to work out how my wife could secure a refund for a faulty product. An important measure of any retailer is their ability to deal effectively and efficiently when things go wrong and that includes making the customer continue to feel valued and that they've got your back. Unfortunately, on this occasion Currys failed on every count and it left us feeling deeply uninspired to the point that I don't think we'd consider making a future purchase from them.
From the moment you walk in you becoming an hunted animal. Every single employee is after you keep asking the same question over and over again. If you manage to get him/her off your back there is another one waiting to jump you. I understand that they were told to do this by some kind of company policy but makes you wanna run away instead of buying.
