Moved into Sainsbury over the past year. Quality brands and easy to assess via online or in store. Been shopping here for years. Great value for money.
Terrible customer service experience. Bought a tumble dryer from Dunfermline halbeith store late on Saturday evening. When it was unpackaged, we discovered a dent on the side. On switching on the dryer, the machine made a loud noise. On phoning argos, they told us to take it back to store for an exchange or refund. We took it to the Kirkcaldy store the very next morning as it was closer to where we lived. The treatment and experience we had in this store was appalling and frankly degrading. They were rude and unhelpful and basically told us we must have dented it. We drove to the Halbeith store and they were shocked at how we were treated and said to us that when the Kirkcaldy store had phoned them regarding the item, they had instructed a refund. This was not what we were told. Dunfermline Halbeith were lovely and helpful. Not this store. Complaint has been put it through and I hope these employees get a lesson on customer service.
Went on Thursday morning plenty parking spaces staff friendly and helpful although I've always found shopping in Argos more time consuming than just walking in to a shop choosing what a want and paying at checkout
Purchased a trampoline which was faulty. Staff member that served me was brilliant and really made the whole process very simple.
Normally a fan of Argos due to decent pricing and quick delivery, however I was left thoroughly disappointed when I attempted to return faulty wireless earbuds I had purchased the same day. The member of staff who served me was very friendly and helpful but informed me that I could not return them as they had been paired to my phone. While they were very apologetic about this, it seems like a ridiculous excuse considering you need to pair earbuds to a phone to be able to use them, and therefore identify any faults. As a result of this ridiculous policy I cannot recommend buying electronics from Argos.
Terrible service bought an item online next day delivery , didn't turn up phoned customer services next day to be told I'd recieve an update later on , no update phoned again next day to be told the item is still in the depot and might get delivered today or tomorrow , cancelled the order .
I purchased this Giant Teddy Bear and I noticed it's Infant safe it had Cloth eyes sewn in and not glass that could easily be Dangerous in the wrong hands if the eyes came off.Its for my Great Grandchild due any day now.Price is reasonable and it's very soft.Would highly recommend this Teddy I was very impressed by my Purchase and very Pleased. Myles arrived October He's Amazing so is his Big Brother Codyboy !
Took a faulty watch back that was purchased over a year ago. Had 2 years manufacturers warranty and Argos would have been within their rights to tell me to contact manufacturer. However, they happily exchanged the watch, with no problems. Staff were freindly and their help was much appreciated. Thank you
