   This used to be my local pharmacy - a few months ago I went to pick up a prescription for vitamin B12. The pharmacist told me what the doctor had prescribed was packed with nasty additives and fillers, and I should buy a higher dosage over the counter. He was insistent on the sale, and feeling confused and overwhelmed I agreed to it. Firstly, he gave me B2 instead of B12 - it was only when I was in another shop I noticed it was wrong, so I had to go back and swap it. He then gave me the B12 he had been pushing, and I have only just checked with a clinical pharmacist at my doctors surgery if it is okay to take a higher dose. They have said not to and to stick with what the doctor prescribed. This is what happens when the pharmacist has purely mercenary interests and values profit over public health. It’s a shame, as the rest of the staff are nice and I used to enjoy going there. I definitely would not go back now.

   Yet again - today 29.10.2024 - the Pharmacist was SUPER HELPFUL. Really good pharmacy. Freshly refurbished. They have all medicines ready - both OTC and POM. You never have to wait. Very knowledgeable, if I may say so. I studied medicine in Poland but was kicked out because of biophysics and anatomy. (Too difficult) and did Masters in much easier discipline.

   Perfect community prescribing pharmacy! The pharmacist is very knowledgeable and approachable. Being a prescribing pharmacy means you often won't need to see a GP for lots of common problems such as a sore throat, UTI's or shingles, as the pharmacist is able to prescribe or recommend certain medications if needed after a consultation or where necessary an examination. The whole team are always friendly, polite and respectful and the pharmacy is always clean and bright. It also has a very good range of non-pharmacy products to choose from. We are very lucky to have this pharmacy in our area, with the pressure the whole NHS is under, it's even more important to not only use our pharmarcies where possible, but to also support them wherever we can as customers.

   Mr. Tailor is a perfect professional I have come across my 50 years work life.. He works with passion. Go out of the way to help and support his patients.. He feels the need of his patients. I am his patient for the last 20 years and never had a slight problem... He has a great knowledge of all the medicines. Very polite and methodical. Delivers medicines in time...    I am so thankful to have this pharmacy just down the road from me. Been twice when I was really poorly, and taking what I'd been given at Boots did nothing. Both times, I felt better that same day. I have this chemist to thank for my good night's sleep last night. Support local businesses everybody.

   I've definitely recommend this place, I have no words on how friendly and helpful the staff was! I've had sciatica pain for a while and they've supplied me with the right medication to sort it out and when I asked for any GP recommendations they were honest about it! It's just great to have such a reliable chemist around! Who needs Boots when you have good caring people around!
