i was wondering around the shop for about 5 minutes looking for a lip balm stand (ps they donβt have one) so i went and asked the black lady who was just standing on the perfumes not doing anything to my surprise instead of just pointing or directing me she said βgo ask my colleagueβ and pointed to the lady on the till who was busy with multiple customers. i walked away and went and asked a different member of staff a who kindly directed me to where they was. i work for boots myself so to be dismissed like this was pretty rude!

Generally excellent service from the pharmacy, whose staff have a heads up attitude. For example, today I was told that my prescription was still being processed and I would have to return later. However, another staff member called Lanja overheard and said she had just dealt with my prescription. After getting it signed off, she brought it out to where I was waiting within a couple of minutes.

Pharmacy review (10/11/25 at 16.30-17.30) This pharmacy is an absolute shambles- 3 people behind the counter tonight, huge queue of people. Young female pharmacist (unfortunately I didn't get name) doesn't seem able to prioritise speedier prescriptions, nor move or serve people with any enthusiasm or bedside manner whatsoever. Tried to tell me the pharmacy were carrying zero treatment for UTI which needs treatment urgently before escalating to a hospital admission, as advised by GPs. Then, after some assertion from me pointing this out, she was somehow able to get me the medication after another long wait and more sluggish and contrary attitude. Having worked in a pharmacy myself and my own family pharmacists, I am absolutely shocked by the lack of professionalism, service and capability of staff. Not acceptable. Especially given the push to rely on our pharmacies more. Young lead pharmacist had an appalling attitude and wasted more time arguing with customers and being as unhelpful as possible. 3 tablets I needed. One support worker (collecting for client) had already waited 30 mins and was told he would have to wait another, even though people behind him had long since been sorted and left, so again lack of priorising urgent or easier smaller prescriptions. Most staff more interested in fobbing patients off and arguing with them even when polite, than delegating and prioritising what needed done. The other colleagues moved with just as little urgency and came to a stand still at times, while they passed blame to each other about "being busy". The only reason it was so busy was lack of organisation and competence and a complete lack of urgency in movement or delegation. Really bad so many people have to rely on this as only pharmacy. Do better and hire better Boots. It's a wonder people get these jobs as it seems you need no skill or sensitivity to be behind a pharmacy counter these days, really sad.

With due respect, this is disgusting. Staff is polite (as they should be everywhere) but having this garbage (trashed McDonaldβs cups and bags, including leaves and other trash) inside the entrance is unacceptable because pharmacies are meant to be impeccable for hygienic reasons. The same goes for the old shelves which probably havenβt been wiped since they were purchased (wouldnβt be surprised if they have mould). You donβt need a genius to realise the hygiene conditions are below the minimum standard.

Pharmacy staff are nice but the Telecoil Loop has been broken for years now and every time I ask about it, they dismiss it or just laugh. As a hearing aid user, it's very frustrating and makes it much harder to access the pharmacy service. On the door it has a sign saying they have a T-link, if you don't want to fix it, at least remove the sign and stop pretending you do have one.

Good small, well organised shop. There is pharmacy also if you need to get prescription.

It takes absolutely ages for them to get stuff ready. Even when the GP sends it on advance they still make you wait rather than preparing it ahead of time like other places do. They will often say they don't have the script then after more pushing it turns out they do. If possible I'd use the indie ones instead

Boots have great products, and ranges of products. There are always many offers and deals, plus good customer service.
