    The prescription service here is quick and efficient. The staff very helpful. They have a delivery service but I have found this problematic. I had one delivery where it was said the driver had delivered my prescription, but he hadn't. I was able to prove I was right, but it was a highly stressful experience. With no apology.

    The pharmacist was very proactive when I showed him my leg all infected and oedematous. He quickly sorted out antibiotics and I couldn’t get an appointment. I was in much pain so didn’t get his name. Asian, young and handsome pharmacist. Thank you so much for your compassion and professionalism.

    Recently I gave birth, I have been prescribed free medication from my doctor for conception. I have been there for 2 days but they don't give me medicine, they just make excuses. I don’t know what's wrong with them what's the issue. Why they act like something confusing. As a postpartum time their stranger behaviour and confusing service feel me very bad and lonely, very very disappointed. I don’t know what to say.

    Terrible service from Wanstead pharmacy. I went into the pharmacy to seek advice about timelines for a vaccination and got told someone would call me back the next day, left my name and number and was told someone would call back. No one bothered calling so I called up and was told the same. Each time being told completely different things about timelines around the vaccine…was told they don’t keep computer records if is all in a book and would take too long to look up by the Pharmacist. Asked to speak to the manager after the third time of calling and getting no call back. The person I spoke to said she was the Manager (later transpired she wasn’t) and I said things seemed a lot more organised when Ali was there and she said “as someone who worked here when Ali was here, you wouldn’t have hit a call back then either”. She was also speaking to other people whilst in the phone to me and wasn’t taking my complaint seriously at all. Each time I visited or called I received different advice about the vaccine and staff are negligible and can’t be bothered they don’t seem to care even when it is about important medical advice. Other comments seem to say the same….AVOID The feedback below feels like excuses. It isn’t just on ‘this occasion’, as the multiple poor reviews below also point out. I spoke to three different members of staff, none of whom showed any care at all and to be honest a real lack of knowledge. I came into the pharmacy on the Monday and the pharmacist told me that they had no records on computer (I said at the time you have no patient records on computer?) and that the person would be back in tomorrow and would give me a call (I left my name and number)…no call. I called back on the Wednesday and left my name again and was told I would get a call back. I called again on Friday and was told I needed to call my GP as that was the only way of tracking my vaccination dates and then I spoke to you on Saturday and you said you had been on holiday….i got told something different by every member of start i spoke to and the last lady was more intent on arguing that I wouldn’t have got a call back previously than taking down my message obviously! I came into the pharmacy in person and called 3 times to say that you receive a lot of calls which are answered is a joke. I also asked to speak to the manager on two of the calls and was fobbed off. Family members of mine have also received poor and to be frank lazy service from Wanstead Pharmacy and to be honest the flippant attitude of staff is unsafe and appalling. Communication was awful on a number of occasions, advice was different each time I spoke to someone new and customer service was the worst I have ever received. The last person I spoke to who said that you wouldn’t have got a call back previously also said on the phone you have had a vaccination for completely the wrong vaccine according to the records and then realised she had made a mistake after I queried it, so attention to detail is also poor…you are dealing with people’s health! Standards have definitely slipped in the past year or so, which a lot of the other reviews reference too.

    Shocking service and couldn’t care less. Like another review I phoned up and asked if they did walk ins. Yes. I was there within 30 mins to be told they have run out. I asked when they would get more jabs and she said Friday. I walk up there Friday (today) to be told walk ins on Saturday. I said to the same girl, you told me Friday. She said that the jabs have arrived today but are not being given until Saturday!!! How I kept my cool I don’t know, an absolute joke and if I didn’t need to go there again I definitely wouldn’t!

    Check your delivery item . Short, an not what's ordered. Plus don't follow instructions. Have a lot to live up to.if they have questions just call they have contact details. Disappointing.

    Very poor customer services with rude and poorly informed staff. I always aim to go with independent local stores rather than going with the chain pharmacies. Not any more. I was told conflicting information over the phone to what I was told in store, wasting my time going into the store after taking time off work to do so. Staff training needed so that all staff that are counter faced do know the correct information to tell customers, especially when people are asking about health issues and services.

    I don’t know why the service has changed here, but the last couple of times of getting the pvt prescription it has been difficult and after this present one I needed, after two days I still not have received it and was told it was with an online service which I discovered it was not. As this has happened a couple of times, and it has being a bit chaotic I will not be using their service anymore, it’s a shame as they were good

    This is by far one of the worst pharmacies - ever!!! Not only are the staff unfriendly, unhelpful and unashamedly so, but they are pretty negligible and uncaring about their elderly patients, I find such non empathy in a profession as theirs is unacceptable it beggars belief.

    There’s one thing being a professional in something and another in failing how to communicate. Having just Spoken to a lady on the phone who is mumbling and then puts the phone down on me twice. Are you not at work to help the patients or in a rush to go somewhere. Honestly, fix up on your communication skills. Shambolic
