I went to 7 or 8 different pharmacies that were out-of-stock of the meds I needed (high-street chains, who were rather unhelpful) before finding this little gem - the staff are efficient and very helpful, and they have a wide stock available.
So nice to have an out of hours pharmacy but there should be more around. Why don't they all work on a rota system . Almost every time I've called 111 they've called back when the pharmacies are closed. Not fun when you've got to drive nearly 7 miles when you've got someone sick to care for!! The staff is so lovely I love it very much. They are really nice and help me get rid of everything. It was very helpful place and I totally recommend it if you need it quick medicine or pill or something like that.
The store needs a refurbishment but the Chemist is lovely. Really personalised and individual service. The people serving are lovely and the Chemist has often saved us in an emergency. Brilliant service and brilliant Chemist.
This is the most oldest but friendliest chemist I know of, I get stuff for my kids here,my mum got stuff for me there! Always friendly, but I feel for the staff, there's a sign on tye door PLEASE SHUT THE DOOR - does anyone bother? No!! Its a busy, fumy road, Shut the door people!! Told me I had to pay even when I'm exempt and have the NHS card because it was an emergency prescription for an asthma pump. Absolute joke.
Rang late last night for advice on non penicillin Antibiotics as couldn't get brand prescribed by Urgent Care. Young lady so friendly and helpful. Got info required. UCC changed prescription. Went here and speedily dealt with.
Appalling service experienced this morning. I walked in with a prescription at 8:30 and over 1 hour later I walked away without anything. All staff members arrived late apart from the woman on the counter, the pharmacist didn’t know what he was looking for and all the staff ignored questions or couldn’t answer questions on updates of my prescription. I was first in the queue and was told that they had both items and 1 hour later I was told that they didn’t have the medication in stock. Complete lack of sympathy from the staff and shocking customer service.
This chemist has been a godsend over the years we have been there on Christmas Eve, in the middle of the nights, countless Sundays, always been able to leave with medicine and served by a friendly kind staff. We all appreciate you so much! Thank you!
They helped me with an urgent prescription after their competitor’s computer system went down on a Saturday evening. They managed to get the prescription transferred and solved the issue for me.
