I ordered a black pudding roll. Couldn't believe the size of it. Big enough to feed 2 people. It was the size of a saucer and delicious. Will definitely be back.
Best cafe in Dalkeith in my opinion, usually go for breakfast but the rest of the menu looks good. They do a breakfast deal 6 items for £5.95. Lovely staff, the type of place where they know their regulars and look after them.

Would be 5 stars but it claims to open at 7 but it isn't open at 7 it opens at 8. If you get a roll and they ask what sauce you want rather than putting the sauce on the roll like anywhere else they give you a sache of sauce for you to put on yourself. Which is a bit awkward when you're on the move.
Cyclists! This is just 1/2 mile off Route 1 and a great refuelling station with the friendliest, most smiley and welcoming welcome. Clearly popular with locals, too! Don't judge this book by its cover - we were glad we stopped off there.
