   What a find. The unassuming Lavender in Dalkeith has the most fantastic and tasty Turkish Breakfast, prepared in its Gluten Free variation by Rojan. Great service, delicious food, busy lunchtime and clearly the highest quality ingredients.

   Ordered the Turkish breakfast & cappuccino for late brunch last Thursday. The serving was so large (& yummy!), I had to forgo the sourdoughbread (managed to fit in 3 mouthful though). As I was enjoying the day out with a good book, I finished off the day with a slice of lemon cake & tea. Overall, very delighted with this cozy little cafe, the delicious food and the care given by the owner & service staff.

   Fantastic cafe with a great ambience, friendly staff and owner and the food..... Delicious! I had the salmon bagel and then a cuppa tea and banoffee pie. Best Banoffee pie I've tasted in years. What had turned out to be a day of errands has become a beautiful day after having a delicious lunch here. Don't skip the cake - they are homemade and mouthwateringly good. Come here hungry and leave very very satisfied.

   Lavender Coffee & Crumb is a rare but very pleasant experience for me. I should go more often. Nice atmosphere in a town with limited cafes above greasy spoon level. Good coffees, very good meals and excellent cakes. Friendly lovely staff who are helpful. Gets busy at times so might have to book, but pop in anyway.

   Lovely little cafe! Bright, spacious, and clean. Staff were polite and attentive. Vegan-friendly and baby/buggy friendly too (there is just one step to get in through the front door) and a couple of high chairs available for use. Veggie options can be made vegan with vegan butter and cheese. There is also always 1 or 2 vegan cakes available. And oat milk for drinks. I had an iced oat latte which was delicious and served in a glass with a paper straw, and a toasted ciabatta. I had to feed my baby after this and the lovely staff offered me some water while I was breast-feeding which was a really nice gesture and much appreciated. There is one unisex disabled toilet with a baby changing station - immaculately clean. Will definitely be back again soon! :)

   Little tiny coffee shop with 6 tables. I really liked their Honey cake and chai Latte is so good. Appearance of shop, cups and menu really impressive. Only disappointed is we waited for more than 30 mins to get our coffee to the table. Apart from that everything went perfect. Updated my review to 5 start. Been here 3 times later on. Later I got quick service And tried their porridge bowl it’s really nice. Totally worth place to visit.
