Appallingly chaotic service. Weekend afternoon wait time to buy tea/coffee was over 30 minutes. It's just bizarre how badly run this place is and how it struggles even when quiet to provide a prompt service.

I don't recommend the food and drink here, ended up having to throw out the micro £5.50 slice of sausage roll since the one i was given must have been scraped off the bottom of the heater and was too tough to eat, despite the perfectly plump ones on the top shelf. There's a pink elephant food truck in the terrace that I noticed after and it looks and smells great, awesome menu. We could have had a fresh breakfast roll for less.

Called in on Wednesday at about 4pm with eight or nine others. You would think they would be pleased for the business but no, they were grumpy and not at all welcoming. Coffee is acceptable but they need to learn to be customer focused.

We stopped for a cuppa whilst out on a walk. They were near closing but we managed to nip in time. Customer service wasn’t great. The guy that served us could tell he wanted us to takeout instead of sit in because he gave us all our drinks in takeout cups and treats in bags. He didn’t even ask. Even a, “I am sorry, we are near closing so it’s takeaway only”, would have been nice. My wife also noticed he was handling food with an open cut on his finger. The teas were fine. My millionaire shortbread was very hard and dense which tasted not bad. My wife’s red velvet was enjoyed and so was my mums ginger loaf. The shop next to the cafe is nice but very expensive. £7.50 for slice of nougat cake!!

Nicely decorated cafe and shop. Great place to sit down and have a warm beverage after a walk in the park.

Staff were delightful and everything was socially distanced. Fab to be able to get a lunch out for my dad's birthday and take our dog.

Ordered 4x ice cream and they were lovely. 1 coffee and 1 black tea, unfortunately we were given a really milky tea so the person couldn't drink it, and we were told we'd have to wait in the que again to rectify their mistake.
