   I've only positive things to say about this chemist I was left by my old chemist without medication over the weekend when I was phoning around to try get my item luckily I called valence pharmacy they said they wd order it fir my I've recently been in hospital and ended up on a lot more medication they offered to do a dosate box for me I'm on 18 different tablets so I was getting over whelmed my docter refused at first they called my GP told them they have to offer every patient the same service and my GP had to resend the prescription in dosete form which they did carnt thank you all enough valence pharmacy is really lucky to have Nafisa and her team working for them hope you all have a great Christmas thankyou soooooo much collette masagazi

   I’m sharing this review to help other Muslim customers. I was prescribed Puresure Vitamin D3 800 IU (Colecalciferol) by this pharmacy. After checking with the pharmacist , I was told that this product is not halal, as it contains gelatin from a non-halal source. I was honestly disappointed because I trusted and didn’t know this product wasn’t suitable for me. I understand that the doctor prescribed it, but I believe it’s important for pharmacists to inform Muslim patients when a product isn’t halal or to offer halal alternatives when possible. I hope this feedback helps improve awareness and care for Muslim customers in the future.

   I’ve been there twice and the two times I was there I was racially profiled, spoken to in a rude manner and neglected. The older white woman that works there was racist towards me from the second I entered the pharmacy and she spoke to me as if I was less than when I asked for assistance. She made a mistake with my prescription and when I came back she blamed me for not paying attention. I’ve had friends of colour who have also been to this same pharmacy and their experience has been the same. It’s quite shocking that racism and profiling hasn’t been addressed especially since the person I believe is the owner is of colour.

   They are a small pharmacy who do their best when GP's do not send prescriptions on time. They have managed to stay open through this crisis so far, unlike some larger shops. So I say well done and thank you!
