I needed a urgent prescription so I went to the NHS 111 service. All was fine with them untill I called the local pharmacist. So with emergency scripts only certain pharmacies nominate themselves to help. So I rung Hobbs pharmacy, who were the only local nominated pharmacist. The pharmacist was so rude he said they didn't have the stock. I then explained their duty of care now was to call NHS 111 and hand back the referral so we can request another pharmacy. He was so rude by saying he was finishing early ( as In 40 mins time ) and didn't want to be late. I said this was an emergency and he then ended the call. Never use this chemist they failed me just to finish on time. I suggest they remove themselves from claiming to be a nominated pharmacy as they clearly aren't. NHS 11 were horrified the poor service I received at such a stressful time and that they failed their duty of care towards a poorly patient

Doesn't even rate one star. I had an appointment for a covid jab. Booked through the nhs app. When I arrived I was told they don't do appointments and I would have to come back later. The pharmacist was curt and dismissive. I did hang around for 90 minutes and finally got my vaccination. It has still not been entered onto my nhs app and that was over a week ago. I wasn't the only person annoyed about the service in there. Just wish I had known before I went. Never again.

I've been trying to get in touch with Hobbs for the past 3 days to see if they've got my prescription and when are they going to deliver it, but the phone is either engaged or just rings and rings. I was on the phone with my GP and he said he had sent it through to them so they should of had it and delivered it by now! If I could've given them a zero star I would have as I think 1 star is being way to generous. I don't know how they're still open as from reading other reviews I'm not the only one to experience poor service, and I read back to a year ago, so why hasn't anything changed??????

Always very very slow. You can stand at the protective screen for 5 mins while the staff ignore you. I now allow 4+ days for my proscription to arrive and be ready. Terrible service

Really upset and frustrated. I informed them that I would be there after 5:15 pm and they said thatβs fine they would have my medication ready for Me and also penicillin for my tonsillitis. I called them numerous times after after just reaching the engaged tone snd no one answered. I turned up early and the lights were on and there were quite obviously someone there. I knocked on the door as it was locked and the shutter wasnβt down. I politely said through the gap in the door Iβm just here to pick up my meds. Then I see a sign to say that pharmacist had left. I tried calling again and this time it was engaged. A man also turned up to get his. I wasnβt even called to say this way happening. I was at my mums and drove from chislehurst all the way there to pick them up. I could m have cried I feel so Ill. if it hadnβt of been for the lovely women in the pharmacy at Devon road surgery I would have no antibiotics and would have to find a way maybe sit in urgent care and I have a 1 year old. Now I have to go To another chemist with my prescription and hope that they have it.

This pharmacy is beyond a joke, each time you try and collect a prescription the service is really slow and confusing, always having to wait. The staff look as miserable as sin, no atmosphere or pleasantries at all, shame thereβs nothing nearer for us to use. This place needs to be run more efficiently!

Terrible service, my wife went in to collect medication for our 20 month old daughter. The staff commented that our daughter "didn't look unwell" and that she was too big for the sling my wife used to carry her (this is due to it being very difficult to get up the steps and through the heavy door of the pharmacy with a pushchair) The service at Hobbs as well as the adjoining post office is consistently bad and the staff are beyond rude, if you don't like your jobs ladies, apply somewhere else and give us all a break.

I am not surprised that this pharmacy got only bad reviews. Very unprepared employees, one of the ladies told me to go back there with my maternity card to get a refund of a prescription I paid for, as we know pregnant woman are allowed to free prescription for a year. When I got there they said to me that I should have a application form (I wasnβt given) I only had a prescription saying that I was allowed a refund... They got very confused when they tried to explain, there was a queue very embarrassing! They not trained, they donβt know what they are doing! Total of 4 people can not manage that small pharmacy... also always a long wait, they donβt greet you, better travelling to blue water to get a prescription.
