Place was almost empty, no staff to serve us and there was no milk and sugar. We asked for help and basically got ignored and left to it

Went in this lunch time for a coffee. There were no clean mugs one dirty plate to put a cake on which we didn't accept Husband had to eat his cake from paper napkin.Coffee machine didn't work . People were on the hunt for clean cutlery. No one person in charge in fact the whole experience was just awful. Never again.

Visited with family for tea-time meal. Kids eat free, when adult buys meal over £4.99 (according to their food board). Well I decided to have a Tikka Masala, but guess what? They didn't have any and it was down to Fish and Chips or Burgers. Decided to go elsewhere.

I've been coming over several years and can say the staff have Always been polite the food is good for the price you paying. Sometimes have to stick head in kitchen to say hello to get served but that's not an issue. The place is clean and airy Well recommended for breakfast. Especially if I'm walking up the pentland hills. What more could you ask for!

I had fish and chips but forgot to take a picture. The fish wasn't the biggest but was crispy, tasty and a fine size for lunch, the chips and peas were good. The service was a bit slow, but the place was full. Now the best part - it was only four pounds, that's exceptionally good value !!.
