We often visit the cafe as my husband likes to use the Golf Range. Since the cafe has been taken over by new management it is not as good. Yes it looks really nice but the service is really slow. The staff that work there are really nice but there is not enough of them. The food we ordered today took ages to come. When it did arrive it was cold and burnt. The man sitting next to us didn’t get his full order he had to ask for the rest of it. There is room for improvement and this would be a great cafe to visit when they sort out their problems.

Cafe just changed to edinburgh coffee bean company. staff were not trained and even picked up food with thier hands. Order had to be given 3 times and staff scolded in front of customers. Lack of training lack of understanding of customer needs. Coffee was not very nice, tea pot leaked. Took 20 mins for the drinks to come. Would not go back again as over priced and under delivered. Shame as the previous run cafe was really good service and good value. nicer atmosphere

I visited the golf range with my family from Australia. This was their first experience playing golf. The range was fantastic as were the staff. However, the owner of the coffee shop was abhorrent and downright rude. There are 3 tables allocated within the cafe to allow golfers to take a seat while waiting for lessons, or others to wait while people taking lessons, without making a purchase from the cafe. My husband was taking a 30 min lesson and we wanted to wait for him before we hit the range. THE CAFE WAS NOT BUSY and the 3 allocated tables were EMPTY. We were strictly instructed to sit at a table for 2 (there were 3 of us) and then watched like a hawk by the owner. The minute my daughter moved an inch along the bench seat, he came over and started having a go at her for taking up space in the cafe!! Such a terrible display of rude and unnecessary behaviour, as such we left and waited in the car. Don’t waste your time with this place, the reviews aren’t great either so can’t imagine the food is up to much.

This is a hidden gem of a coffee shop and cafe. Easy to park and ideally located. The owner is very friendly as are the staff. I have been coming here for over 20 years. The owner always makes a fuss of my young son. So much so he insisted on inviting him to his birthday party!! Coffee is great and the soups are wonderful too. Service the way it should be done.
