Amazing service! The staff were very kind and welcoming. The place also had comfortable spots to sit and get some work done, which made it even better. Highly recommend this branch!
as much as I loved this store - I am having to change. Queuing every morning 10-15mins with one person (trainee) serving at peak time between 9am-9.30am. You'd think I could pre-order for collection - well its impossible as app issues for over a week now, been raising it with store staff daily as well as raised ticket via app - nothing been done. When there was an option though - I'd often come to my collect order not even being picked up by the baristas so I'd end up having to wait anyway - no point in pre-ordering then? I think they are massively understaffed and one person simply isnt enough in the morning when everyone comes by to get coffee and they dont fancy being late for work! 17mins queue time this morning - 2 people in front of me. thats bad. coffee cold, toast burnt. Unfortunately will not be back :( its a shame as its such a nice wee place...
Brilliant establishment. Staff go above and beyond what is expected of them. Got given a coffee to my table when I was fully expecting just to walk up and get it. Right by a bookshop as well - my favourite !!!
The staff are generally nice and efficient; the coffee is good, the Earl Grey tea pretty tasteless. The code for accessing the toilet is unsuitable for customers suffering from dementia/Alzheimer. The furniture and shop could do with some revamp - feeling cold and looking worn.
I like busy places! it s quite busy just because of the attached bookstore, generally, you won't be in the queue for the coffee and its quality is perfect. Also, you can do people-watching when you are enjoying drinking a tasty coffee! Watching People walking in the city center or to the bookstore! Personally, I don't like very quiet places!
This place always goes over and beyond for the presentation and friendliness that comes from the staff. I’m a regular and usually come before work and they always welcome me and provide wonderful service. very tasty lattes and frappes, 11/10
