   I had to scrape of a lot of jam from the Norwegian waffle cause it was just that sweet. It’s more like fruit jelly than any jam I’m used to in Scandinavia. The matcha was also kind of sweet so I didn’t mix it and just drank the green. Other than that it was good, I would go here again just unsweetened matcha and something else other than waffle.

   Black Sheep in Edinburgh is a cozy spot for a quiet winter morning. The almond croissant was absolutely delicious. So flaky and rich. The drip coffee wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it did the job and paired nicely with the view from the window seat. Sitting there, watching tourists and locals rush by, made for a simple but lovely start to the day.

   I stopped here as I was catching a train and wanted a place to sit and wait. Lovely tuna melt, the bread was fluffy and filling hot and tasty. I got the sandwich deal so it came with a small latte and coffee was really great too. Convenient location, speedy service and handy with plugs so I could charge my phone for the train journey. Would recommend and come again!

   Happy to see a cafe that doesn't close during the first afternoon but a bit later (9pm). The view on Princes Street is very nice. The temperature of the store should be warmer to be honest, it was a wee cold when I visited.
