   Went to The Irish Dude for lunch for the second time and it was excellent. The blackened Cajun chicken sandwich was tasty. The selection of Irish items on sale is a nice touch. Service was spot on and welcoming. Nice wee place with good vibes all round. Will definitely be back!

   Great wee spot for great coffee and sweets. The little free library and atmosphere give it a great vibe to relax and enjoy some peace, either alone or with friends. The proprietor was not only personable but funny and knew how to read his people. Highly recommend and will be back.

   Cosy and clean ambience. Yum food! The cheese and tomato toastie was so fresh and yum. Finding such a good and fresh toastie in the UK only here. And the service and hospitality is very good. Highly recommend this place.

   A wee oasis of calm in Leith docks. Really chilled atmosphere with a great menu and lattes to die for. Great craic too! Outdoor seating for relaxing, enjoying the sun and watching the trams go by. There’s even a well stocked bookcase to get through. We’ll be back!

   I stopped here for a drink as I cycled in Leith. Best stop I made. Amazing melt chorizo and red pepper with jalapeños and goats cheese. Amazing breakfast tea. Great service and chilled vibe.

   Irish Dude is good and for a small number of people right now really helpful. As the roadworks and commute around Leith evolves I can see this coffee shop getting even better. It could certainly become a vital stop for Leith workers. Tip: You get proper coffee here and get it quickly. Avoid the big franchises in Ocean Terminal, cross the road and come here instead. The chap who runs this coffee shop is really on the ball. That's why the drinks here are both swift and tasty, they're made with skill and experience. The coffee here is also good quality. The beans are good! The fresh quality is also a big tick for the food. You'll be able to get some freshly delivered local baking or some made while-you-wait sandwiches. I recommend the Caprese, and caution that it sells out quickly. Irish Dude is a coffee shop with baking, sandwich and a few other food options. Perfect for a snack or quick lunch. It's more coffee than food, though. The venue isn't best seen as a small eatery, there's no large lunch option. Or bacon rolls. We've thumbs up for the coffee and snack selection. It's also worth calling out how clean and friendly the venue is. Irish Dude has large windows, there's lots of light (and even a cosy reading chair by the window). I've become a regular and I've noticed some familiar faces with my visits. There's no shortage of choice in Leith, Irish Dude is around the corner for most and so to have earned regulars already is a telling vote of confidence. [June 22 update - still good!
