Only a short stop to have a break from driving and grab a coffee. Great looking venue, was packed out; great atmosphere, quick service. Looking forward to spending more time if I visit again, and look forward to sampling your local cuisine. Thanks Wetherspoons, another great stop.

Booked in for the night, was told we were the room at the front, no problem from the bar noise, it was the constant traffic. Bar was busy but got seated, food and drinks good. Went to ladies toilet which wasn't the most pleasant, as someone had decided to stick their used sanitary product to the top of the toilet roll holder. Did report it. Second time we stayed here, room was at the side of the hotel, woken very early in the morning with the beer lorry dropping off and picking up the barrels.

Good prices, but the food was so so. The bloke who delivered it was friendly, but my main gripe was the lack of friendliness from the barman with ginger hair and beard. Dour, barely said a word, no friendliness at all, just a bad vibe guy

The hotel is good, service is quick and the food is nice. Its wetherspoons prices so you can't go wrong. Some of the rooms face onto the main road and can be a bit noisy early in the mornings. The car park gets quite full and there isn't always a space to park during opening hours if you don't get there early on as this is also used by customers not staying in the hotel but are there for the food so spaces do become available after 9pm.

Stayed here when in Edinburgh and CAN NOT FAULT THEM. They are so friendly And welcoming, the parking is on site and so easy. The room is beautifully decorated, Wonderfully spacious and spotless. Then down stairs is a restaurant where you can get a delicious meal for a very reasonable price. Good drinks and cocktails. Already planning my next stay here. Also for those going into town the bus stop is 2 shops down and goes straight into town. So convenient.

Absolutely fab, great service , great food, great prices. Staff are always polite, always happy to help. The only down sides are that it is really loud. Well on a sat evening anyway. Tables are close together so it can be hard to hear your table company. Very busy so not always guaranteed a table. Other than that I really like the place. Would recommend and will be returning regularly.

The room of the hotel was too cold when we arrived. It never reached a proper temperature since our departure. The TV always worked for 10 minutes and after that it lost its signal. There was no toilet brush!! They told us people steal them that's why they don't provide one. Hilarious and sad at the same time!!! There was also too much moist in the room to the point that the walls were leaking. On the positive side, the room was quite large and nice. Everyone working there were extremely nice. The place is over a pub which is great. You can always find something to eat or drink. The area is like a suburb, not much traffic, not noise at all. The bus stop to the city is right across the street. It takes 30 minutes to reach the city center and costs 1.80 pounds. The price was fair but I don't think I'd chose it again in the future.

We were very impressed staying at 'The White Lady' in the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh. Rooms were extremely comfortable. We were on the first floor, overlooking the car park. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Extra pillows, clean towels, tea/coffee etc., It was real handy being upstairs from Wetherspoons too. Pity there are no downstairs rooms. I'm on crutches but managed with help from hubby, but it's a definite NO for anyone in a wheelchair I'm afraid, although the restaurant/pub downstairs is fully accessible. It's just that the rooms are at least one up. In saying that, we had a super stay, and would have no hesitation in returning. There is some parking, and you could leave your car there, and hop on a bus into the city centre, with bus stops right outside the hotel. The staff were friendly & helpful, and there are plenty shops/cafes in the immediate area. Not far from Edinburgh Zoo & Murrayfield Stadium.

This review is based on having a light lunch in the bar, mid-week. Typical Spoons decor, nothing fancy but sufficiently comfortable. Wide choice of drinks, including low alcohol beers and all at low prices. Ditto for food: note that large portions are large! It seemed that quite a few locals had taken up residence reading the day's newspapers over a pint or two but there were still plenty of tables free Overall we judged the White Lady to be excellent value and we'll be back!

Very cosy indeed. First time I've ever had breakfast in a 'Spoons. Had a breakfast muffin with hash brown. Enjoyed it. The plain exterior doesn't reflect the lovely interior. Worth a visit. I was not a resident, but maybe one day!
