This is pure fraud. I took my car in because the engine light was on, and they only connected with an OBD device and cleared the error, but they didn't fix it. The light came back on an hour after I picked up the car. When I went back a week later with the same problem, they couldn't find the issue and ended up damaging the spark plugs and ignition coils. Never entrust your car to these scammers. When I told them this to their faces, they swore at me and kicked me out of the shop.

First class service . The person in store , managed to find a pair of wiper blades to fit my Vauxhall Astra. He then went out to the car and fitted both blades. Tried them on the way home . Working fine. Excellent service.

Sorry Halfords but on this occasion my experience wasn't very good. I went into the store and Asked if they could check my battery and a guy came out and tested it that part was fine. I asked if they had a battery too replace it with. At some point the original staff that were dealing with me changed. The process of replacing the battery. First of all they connected a battery to my car through the OBD connector to retain the memory and it sparked on there lead they were using because it was badly damaged and should have been thrown out. I could have damaged the electronics on my car. Next they started to unbolt the battery connector from the positive terminal first with a metal socket. This time I had to stop them and explain why not to do that first. One nut had to be totally removed form one of the battery terminals and they dropped it onto the splash tray on the under side of the car. Later when they had got the new battery in the tray and connecting it back up they were unable to find a replacement nut that thread fitted and some how the blot thread at the end was stripped. They said that they didn't have a bolt to replace it with. Last thing I thought that the negative terminal had an insulated cover over it, but it was never found.

Exceptional service yesterday to put my dash cams into my new car. The car was also checked over, and a fault was pointed out to me regarding one of my tyres. This allowed me to take it back to where I bought it and raise a concern and get it replaced. Thank you once again, you are amazing.

Great service today. The guy helped us pick out a roof box - stopped us from buying one that wouldn’t fit! Unboxed, and took time to explain how to fit it properly. Even helped us out with it in the rain! Thank you!
