So glad I found this amazing little restaurant on Tik tok when searching for a post hippodrome dinner venue. These guys work extremely hard creating gorgeous food. Our bruschetta starter was delicious as was the venison ragu. We didn’t have room for their tiramisu! Next time.

Super tasty pasta in a cosy shop. We were lucky to be able to get a table for 2 indoors, although they do have outdoor seating. I had the pesto (special) and my partner had the carbonara, both were fantastic and fresh.

The whole experience at Magari was fantastic! The staff are so friendly and helpful, the decor is simple but charming and the food is absolutely perfect!! The portions are fairly modest but as most of the dishes are pretty rich, it works well! We got starters, main, dessert and drinks for 4 people for Β£100!! The sausage ragu pasta was the star of the show for us! Thanks Magari!

This is a small pasta place with a big reputation that is truly well earned! The indoor dining area is quite small only having a few tables and if you wish to avoid sitting outside booking is practically essential. The service was fast and friendly with the kitchen right next to the dining area so the smells from the food being prepared fill the air. We started with the burrata that was delicious with its creamy mozzarella and flavourful sun-dried tomatos, we highly recommend getting the extra sourdough which acts as a perfect edible delivery system for the dish. Then the pasta, actually faultless, generous portions, perfectly cooked and packed with amazing flavour! For the prices they charge, this spot is incredible quality for the money and we highly recommend checking it out!

You cannot beat the Β£10 lunch deal. The value for money is astonishing. Freshly made pasta and quality ingredients cooked simply to produce great flavours. Staff are wonderful and the vibe is always good. Need I say more? The best around.

For our last night in Bristol, me and my boyfriend were on the hunt for amazing food. We were so lucky to have stumbled across this hidden gem! Absolutely AMAZING food with outstanding customer service. If there’s one reason for us to visit Bristol again it would be for this food and service :)

As someone mentioned before - reasonably priced if you take in to account how posh this location it is. But unfortunately food itself is just poor. Homemade pasta without taste. Rly nothing else to add here. Fingers crossed for chef’s creativity but I wont visit again.

The BEST pasta you will eat in Bristol. It is a small but cosy Italian restaurant, with only a few items on the menu but of very good quality. The bruschetta was great for sharing, and the pasta (which is made fresh everyday) was a very good portion, enough to leave you full but with room for dessert…which goes without saying do not leave without trying the tiramisu!!! The waitress told us she had made it fresh that morning and you could definitely tell. Overall a great meal, amazing service and quality for the price, will definitely be back!

This restaurant is everything that’s right in the world. I showed up for dinner really tired after an intense day of work and an intense day of travel. I had a headache and just wanted somewhere nice to eat. This is the best Italian food I’ve had in the uk outside of Italy. It’s simple, fresh, made with love. La dolce vita at its finest. Bite by bite, the food revived my soul and energy. The amazing and passionate staff as well as the groovy African tunes really helped. This place is authentic, rustic, fresh and delicious. The menu is simple- and long may that remain as every single item is a hit. I want to move to Bristol just so I can eat here regularly. Thank you!
