Came here for a sheet of plywood and had it cut to my specifications for a project that I have. They give you the first 5 cuts free and the cost of the ply was pretty much the same as my local timber merchants. Chap at the wood cutting booth was very helpful too.

Hello everyone! Yesterday I had an unpleasant experience. I wasn't feeling well, but since I have to go to work on Monday, I decided to buy a new pair of shoes. I bought them at B&Q for Β£37. At the checkout, I was served by a young guy with curly red hair. I gave him Β£40, and he gave me only Β£3 in change. I also used my B&Q discount card and received a Β£10 discount, so should have gotten Β£13 in change, not Β£3. He didn't give me a receipt, and since I was feeling unwell, I didn't pay much attention. My wife pointed out that I should have received a discount, but I didn't think about it at the time. Today, I received an email with the electronic receipt showing the discount. I understand that it's partly my fault for not asking for the receipt right away, but it still feels unpleasant to be short-changed - even if it's not a big amount of money. My advice: always tak receipts!

The customer service standards in this store are appalling. I asked for help to find a specific product today, and the staff member just told me the aisle number where I could look for it myself. Looking for a particular kind of box of screws wasn't easy even though I had the picture from the b&q website. I asked for help at the customer service desk where the staff member had no clue - I just needed to confirm if I had chosen the right product from the shelf. She then called someone else over (coincidentally the same guy who had given me the aisle number earlier) who got a ladder to see if there were any of the products on a higher shelf. He gave it to me, I paid, and when I got home, discovered it was the wrong product he'd handed me. Really poor service which will take Enstone longer to fix than if he'd just helped efficiently in the first place. I'm going to use a different branch in the future.

You can do it when you B&Q it seemingly. What can one say about a big DIY superstore? Want paint? Got it. Want screws? Got it. Want wood? Ask wee Jackie she will sort you out. Bet you donβt come out of this place spending under Β£100

Wanted to buy a shed but I need someone to assemble it, but they don't have it in offer. So no point buying as I won't do it myself. But in general. Good shop with lots of stock.

absolute shambles of a store... even as little as a year ago you could walk in and find exactly what you needed in a fraction of the time it takes you now. asked the staff to help and they have no clue as to where half the stock is, timber used to be all in the one aisle and easy to select now seems to be 2 sections of the store and half the range that there was previously. I'd advise b&q to change shopfitters and layout staff as most aisles are dangerously close to one and other it's an accident waiting to happen. seriously advise anyone to go to one of the other better laid out shops like cumbernauld or east Kilbride. Will never shop here again.

Totally disorganised outlet, it's under going a refit and nobody on the staff knows where anything is. When I went to the self check out and asked a staff member for assistance he was as helpful as a hole in a space suit.

Huge car par with disabled spaces. Also has it's trade counter at the far end. Usual stick and the staff are most helpfull. And to top it of there is a burger van in the car park and it does good grub. And the girls like a laugh and pleasing on the eyes.
