Booked a Buying for Baby experience yesterday. Lorraine showed us lots of travel systems and how they work. Was very helpful. We also managed to have a look at the Next to Me cribs.

Terrible service having spent over 2000 on mamas and papas furniture online we decided to pop in for bedding. Was accosted by an assistant over seen by a much older woman , when we were holding small items of bedding to decide on a colour the assistant demanded both to my daughter and me oh we will pop them behind the till. “ No one else was asked. We were both making purchases and treated as if we were suspect shoplifters. Quite disgusted by this we still purchased the items as they were needed. What a horrid and way wrong assumption. Glad the pram and car seat is ordered elsewhere. Very disappointed by the older member of staff. They need trained on unconscious bias. Then basic customer service. Sad that due to lack of competition on the high street for baby stores we are forced to endure this. After spending lots on this brand albeit online. What utter numpties in that store. Boots along the road had cheeper alternatives however we wanted to match the nursery furniture.Good products however Really terribly let down by bad inexcusable service.

I ordered cot sheets and a quilt for my 2 year old from Mamas and Papas online, and was informed delivery would be within the week, however this had not happened and there was no additional information when I tracked the delivery online. After emailing customer services, I was informed that the cot sheets were in fact out of stock and would not be available for another month. I requested for the blanket to be delivered in the interim (due to the colder temperatures) and was informed this was not possible as the order included another item. This was the first time I have ever ordered from Mamas and Papas online and it has been a hugely disappointing experience. I was never informed about the stock issue until I personally followed it up, and found my interaction with customer service to be unhelpful and impersonal.

A PERFECT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE. We popped into Mamas and Papas at Glasgow Fort purely for a look around...we walked out with a full baby travel system! The lovely sales person spent nearly an hour with us, teaching us all about prams and car seats (there's a lot to know!). This allowed us to make an educated purchase. Well done Mamas and Papas.

Ordered a Mattress to my BF address for a cot bed. Its now been a month and nothing. They messed up the address so the delivery company cant send it. I have been in to sort it but was sent away told to comtact the delivery company as there is nothing they can do. When I got in contact with the delivery company and sorted it, found out the next day mamas and papas recalled it without warning me. Emailed them and phoned them. Heard nothing back on the email and on the phone I was told to contact the delivery company AGAIN. I did that, AGAIN, but when they got the parcel and asked for the address of where to send it to, mamas and papas still had the messed up address so they can't resend it. They cant even say it was the strikes as they go to a private company for all deliveries not the Royal Mail.

Avoid at all costs. Staff are terrible if I could give 0 stars I would. Firstly when u went in to put the remainder of my pram the lady on the till had a terrible attitude because I went to pay in cash which she says they weren’t accepting fair enough it was the whole attitude she had towards me and the tone. The staff behind tills were just ignoring customers chatting amongst themselves. Then my £1200 pram snapped in the middle of a busy road, I don’t drive so was told I would have to bring my son up in a snapped pram on two buses for the problem to be fixed. Then when I did bring the pram in I was given one that wasn’t suitable for my sons age, told his footmuff would at least fit which it didn’t. They also had the cheek to give me a raincover thy didn’t fit so on the school run the next day my son was soaked and now has a cold. I have to wait 3 weeks for my pram to be fixed and not received one apology. For a 1200 to snap like that is beyond a joke if I was bumping my son down a set of stairs it could have been a major accident! Avoid!!!!!
