Went to B & Q on the 30.7.25 for fence panels, but there stock was down to 2 and one broken. Asked one of the staff outside the store room next to the till, who was very helpful. I needed 10 panels and on checking i could get the 10 fence panels by the coming sunday. Paid for them and thanked this helpful male staff. Cheers.
My partner and I were in store yesterday to buy a kitchen unit. We were both pretty clueless on where to start and how to put it together. James helped us out so much, from showing us exactly what we would need to then helping us lift it onto our trolleys. He went above and beyond and made the experience a lot easier than it would have been without the help. There was also a really lovely girl that James passed us onto at the trade desk that helped me set up an account. I didn’t get her name but she was really friendly and spoke me through the process. My partner and I went into the Strathkelvin Retail Park store on 10/06/2025 at around 7pm to look for a combi drill. We were very unsure on what to buy and asked one of the employees for help (Michael). He was the loveliest and most helpful man I have come across in a long time. He was eager to help and very enthusiastic. Thank you very much Michael, you made our day☺️
Bought a kitchen from them and they failed to inform me of the design changes the store approved fitter advised when I went back for my post survey consultation. They have since tried to blame him despite me seeing the plans myself! I am now left with a half finished kitchen and a wait of 3 weeks for the right parts to turn up. Even the gift voucher of £75 they offered me as a "gesture of goodwill" was missing when I made the 75 mile round-trip to pick it up and drop off all the incorrect parts with them last night. The Duty Manager Martin who spoke to my partner regarding this issue was nothing short of appalling the way he spoke to her. He was rude, condescending and ignorant. I am left with a half finished kitchen and a massive headache! I will never be back in that store!
We often pop in here when up at retail park. Yesterday we were approached by Douglas 'Dougie' and offerd the QR Code to join. I was impressed as he was so chatty specially with my daughter and her future job prospects. She's 16 he was 73yrs. I just hope she hasn't got the fear she'll need to work next 60yrs. I should have been retiring next year but Tory policy now have to work till 67. I hope I'm as cheerful and as fit as Dougie. An employers dream of a worker. A CREDIT TO B&Q.

Lots of great deals and everything u need for ur home from flooring to shelfs to electronics paints and tools. If you have a trader friend take them with u there is some good trades only deals
Store checkout personnel excellent. Not many helpers in aisles, however. Not too busy late afternoon. Had to return some items …. absolutely straightforward.
I really like this store, as it has one ground floor so you don't need to consider elevator or escalator and everything just in floor. Not just that, but in this store you can find many lines other stores don't have. Floor assistant can be reach from B&Q personnel with hunger to help and guides. Keep the good work.
