My car had issue with unwanted rattling noise on the brake. Steins garage did a great job to fix that. Amazing!!

I didn't have a chance to say "Thank you for everything." So I'm leaving a review not only to express my gratitude but also to spread the word about this place. I went for an MOT, and some parts were broken or damaged that would have resulted in an MOT failure. Garage Stein called me, explained the situation, and managed to fix the car, pass the MOT, and return it before 1pm. I can't go home during the MOT as there isn't a convenient bus journey between Leith and East Lothian. So during the conversation, I just mentioned that I was coffee crawling but wasn't expecting anything or to be accommodated. What a surprise when I heard the car was ready 2 hours before the estimated time Mr Stein gave me. So Mr Stein and your team, a big thank you for your service. I've been coming for a couple of years already, and will certainly continue doing so.
Really great experience using this garage. My MOT was done within an hour and very reasonably priced. Friendly, professional service. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use again.
Well I must add my own endorsement to those already given. I was quoted £1,100 for new shock absorbers by a "well known chain garage". I ran it past a friend who suggested I speak to Craig Stein's garage and I am very glad I did! Craig identified the issue and it was sorted in half a day and for £180! My advice is steer (!!) clear of chain garages and go to a proper mechanic. I know where I will be placing my business going forward. Thanks chaps!
I've been going to Stein's Garage for a few years now. They do a brilliant job and I can't recommend the garage highly enough.

Steins were highly recommended to me by an RAC person and another friend. As a senior female, it was such a joy to find a garage that not only offered a highly efficient standard of service at a great price, but who also treated myself, with respect. I would happily award more than 5 stars to this excellent garage, where there are true mechanics and not just "fitters". A rare find.
