   ⚠️ Beware: I took my car in for what should have been a simple 2-hour job, and one week later it is still with the garage with a fault that was not present when I handed it over. The garage is now trying to bill me for a new issue that occurred under their care. It has been an absolute nightmare, and for the first time in my life I’ve had to contact Trading Standards to help resolve this. Avoid this garage.

   Booked my Volvo in as it had an electrical problem (Dealer wanted £175 just to diagnose it), these guys found the fault repaired it in a couple of hours at a very reasonable price (less than the dealer wanted for diagnostic) fast, efficient and friendly service. Highly reccomend this garage.

   Worst ever mechanics. They claim to specialise in VW but fitted my suspension coil seating wrongly 3 times, cost me £600, was completely unsafe. If they want to argue it, I've got the photos to prove it. Dangerous!!! They claimed to have done a service including an oil change - nope. Expensive, useless, unhelpful. DON'T GO THERE even in an emergency. I remember the good old days when they were trustworthy, unfortunately Derek retired, it's a different business now. I used to recommend them to family and friends, I've spent a bit of time going back to warn people off. Never again.

   For this years service and MOT of our Skoda Superb I switched from the main dealer to Corstorphine Mot & Auto Centre. Better in every way. Friendlier staff, cheaper and also a lot more convenient (I appreciate that's just down to location). Will definitely be using in the future.
