   My sisters and I had a lovely time at The Roxy this past Friday! We enjoyed the live music - the musicians were incredible and the lead singer was amazing!! But most of all, I'm writing this review specially for James, who was the doorman that evening - With all the work Christmas celebrations there were a lot of roudy groups, and whenver my sisters and I went outside to smoke James kept an eye out for us, he was so lovely and friendly, but also super professional and didn't tollerate any nonsense, we felt very safe with him around. So we're sending a special thanks to James, he made our evening!

   James is the kind of bouncer every club wishes they had. Professional, friendly and incredibly good at reading the room. We always feel safe when’s he’s working at the door. He treats everyone with respect and keeps things moving smoothly. You can tell he takes pride in creating a safe, welcoming environment and honestly, it sets the tone for the whole night. Absolutely incredible at what he does.

   We had a great time at the Roxy, we were first approach by James which by the way is the best security guy he was so nice and got us in. We had a good time Sarah Angel was a great singer the rest could do more practise sorry. But we had a good time realistically but could it have been better .

   Good fun clubbing experience. Drinks are okay and not too overpriced. Maybe I got lucky with bouncers/security but we got in just fine (arrived before 10.30), danced next to security all night who was very respectful and even helped keep an eye on the purse/drinks of our group. Also no problems going out for a smoke/fresh air and coming back in multiple times. I will say the DJ's transitions were a bit rough, and he played Mo Bamba twice. Which was fine cuz I was outside for the first time lmao

   Horrendous experience after my friend who was completely sober was denied re entry after going for a smoke break, and when I asked for a refund or to talk to the manager I was told I had no rights to do so by the bouncers, I have come to the roxy many times and have always been respectful to all the staff, it’s just a shame to see that the staff have no respect for their customers even after spending hundreds of pounds in the club, the staff also denied to explain to me why my friend was denied entry and only said the manager wants him out and refused to let me or any of my friends to talk to the manager. All 5 of us still demand to get our refunds and I will personally not stop till I do so unless I am shown evidence that clearly shows that my friend was intoxicated. Just all all together a horrible night.

   Please be careful if you go here. Really really careful. I think bag checks really need to be more thorough as I know they barely looked at mine and it seems that people bring in things they shouldn't I don't know if I've just been unlucky, but I was spiked there at least once. I ended up being injected in that nightclub with god knows what and had to go through hell with blood tests, medications and police reports. Another night, I suspect I had a drink with something in it as I drink carefully and don't go overboard usually, but after a couple drinks, I had no memory of the rest of the night, just a lot of bruises the next day. Can't prove this one though, so I'll leave that. I'm not going back here, and I really don't recommend anyone risks it. There are a lot of good clubs in London, your safety is not worth risking for a night out to what is a mediocre club.

   My GO TO!! Except they kicked my friend out one time for something not her fault, ruined my mood. The lines for the bar are a bit hectic and ruthless for me and some days there’s old men there alone who just watch the young girls. I had a guys eagle eyes on me for hours one night I don’t love that. Music is FUNFUN FUN and pitchers are so alcoholic and yummy
