Craig offered good advice on work that would be required to get my car through its MOT and carried it out promptly, to a high standard and within the price quoted. It can sometimes be hard to find an honest mechanic these days but Craig is definitely one of the good ones, will be my go to for any future work. Highly recommended.
Dropped my Audi off this morning received a txt at 2pm and the car was ready to drive off 2 faults fixed and a new MOT ,very reasonable price, and friendly service, but we had booked in advance for an amicable slot *****
Having been thoroughly ripped off by another garage (who didn't even fix the issue), I brought my vehicle to Fernie who correctly diagnosed the problem, repaired it for less than half what i'd already paid to the other garage and was very patient in explaining to me what the actual problem was and why the other garage should never have carried out the work they did. I highly recommend this garage, it's great to know you can trust a garage to treat you fairly and they're very friendly too. Five stars, without a doubt.
I booked my car in to have a snapped handbrake cable replaced. It turned out to be quite a challenged I was informed, however Craig and the team managed to sort it, despite having to dismantle a lot of the interior to get at the relevant area. Without doubt the best service from any garage I have been to and a very reasonable price charged too. I will be spreading the word to anyone who needs to know. Superb!
Called Fernie for some advice on a engine problem, gave me a idea what to look at and sorted it myself thanks to his advice. Nice for mechanic to explain what could be going on to a point I could do something myself even if it’s just replacing a couple parts. Thank you
