Glad for Hawes Garage - my cars heating hadn't been working, turned out to be a bigger job than I thought but all in the name of being thorough. I was given updates on what it needed etc via email and phone call. Picked my car up a few days ago and heating works perfect now just in time for winter, thank you all
Got a tire puncture and my car was being well taken care of by the professional team. Their work ensured my safety on the road again. The lady receptionist was very kind. I'm pleased that there is a top garage in the neighborhood.
I thought I had posted a review for this business , so here is one now Had my car serviced promptly, and under the expected cost . On collecting the car and driving for an hour I heard a grind from what I thought were the rear brakes as they are the original parts and the car was close on going round the clock. I contacted the garage by e mail explaining this , I got the car in that week. On collection , no charge , no parts needed, just freed off and cleaned up the hubs , many less reputable businesses could have said , bearings,hubs and shoes and I would have paid it . I am telling all my colleagues at work about this business that truly understands trading on reputation. I will be back for MOT later this year , proper service
Took car in to get brakes replaced after another garage had recommended this during a service – they let me know that the brakes were actually in good enough condition! Appreciated telling me this rather than just carrying out the work, will be back in future.
After getting a puncture on the motorway the good people of Hawes Garage change my wheel got new Tyre and refitted it everyone was very friendly and helpful and very reasonably priced would definetley recommend them for work.
They kindly checked my tyres when a warning signal indicated a related problem during a journey from Edinburgh to Perthshire. Very friendly, helpful and they assessed and sorted the problem within minutes, allowing us to proceed with minimal delay. Delighted by the kindness shown by the lovely people at the Hawes Garage
Helped me out big time yesterday morning when I realised I had the issue no one wants (completely flat tyre) when you just set off after finishing a night shift. Turns out it was an issue with the wheel. Service was professional, friendly and very efficient. Thanks again guys and I would highly recommended them. Don't go anywhere else if you need a garage in the area.
Like many my car has been stationary for most of the last 12m. When I needed it on Tues it wouldn't start (flat battery). The boys at the Hawes picked her up, charged her amd kept her overnight to make sure I didn't need a new battery. All for the princely sum of £20. Great price, great service, friendly and helpful staff. Top notch!
With an appreciation for good quality German made cars (Audi/VW/BMW), I usually stick to repairs at mainstream dealers, BUT the prices made me cringe and I had to find an alternative local reputable garage. I found it with Hawes Garage. Having used Hawes with three different cars, they have done some detailed diagnosis and repairs with prices that are MUCH more reasonable than mainstream at no impact to quality. Highly recommend these guys, good customer service, they are interested in your car challenges and the mechanics are experienced and interactive.
