Initially, there was just a small chip, but in an effort to ensure safety, I opted for a repair through Halfords. However, the repair only made matters worse, as more cracks appeared all over the glass. It turns out they ended up breaking the glass and then refused to take any further action beyond offering a refund, insisting that it was a risk I should have been willing to accept. Shockingly, I was never informed of any potential risks prior to the repair. Despite numerous frustrating conversations over the course of half a month, I have yet to receive the promised refund, and I'm beginning to doubt if I'll ever see it at all. I strongly advise against using their services - they are utterly unreliable and provide abysmal customer service.
