Booked car in for a service and was advised the car brake fluid needed changed. I expected this as had been 3 years since the last fluid replacement. The receptionist also said the windscreen wipers needed replaced which I knew was untrue so only agreed and paid for brake fluid. The service sheet recorded the brake fluid had been replaced. It wasn't until the next service 12 months later at another garage the car failed the brake fluid check (which was shown to me) and they stated it would not fail unless they had not changed the fluid or had used contaminated fluid. I contacted the service manager at Halbeath by email but was ignored. I would not buy a car or have it serviced here again. Watch what they charge you for !
