   This is a fantastic dental clinic! Maureen on reception can’t do enough to help, she listened to my issue and called me back with a same day appointment when I required emergency dental care. Mihaela my dentist, took time to talk over the work that was required and the aftercare. I really appreciate the work that they do to help and put patients at ease.

   Great dental practice with a lovely friendly team and professional approach. I had pain in my face, which may not be dental despite the symptoms. They were quick to auggest I see a doctor in case the problem was neural pain. They have taken great care of my children’s teeth as well and would highly recommend the practice.

   Such a poor experience with this clinic recently. I found the receptionist extremely rude on my first visit since Covid. They made underhand remarks about not being seen for over 3 years when I asked about filling out patient form (genuine question as I wasn’t a new patient). She then went on to complain that I didn’t fill form online sent to me via text message 24 hours before appointment. Various reasons why I didn’t complete form online and it is unprofessional to make a remarks about not doing this while walking away from me with said form. Never had an experience quite like it and I get the feeling she was overstretched and wrongly taking that out on certain patients. I then called to cancel appointment due to illness this morning and I have been told in order to make new appointment, she will need to charge me £57 for cancellation despite it Monday and not able to contact clinc until the morning. Very poor. Will be moving family elsewhere. On a more positive note I found the dentist very professional and thorough in her treatment with great explanations of what she was doing and what treatment was needed.

   Just had an amazing two hour appointment at this terrific dental practice. I cannot praise the dentist Jasmine and her nurse for the incredible care and support throughout a gruelling session. The admin and reception is managed by a very friendly, compassionate but ultra-efficient receptionist who is extraordinarily helpful.

   I've been a regular customer of Portobello Dental Clinic for almost 9 years, and can highly recommend my new dentist, Dr Calum McAllister. He's just taken a heavy burden off my mind! The clinic does still practice NHS tariffs which is rare.

   Really disappointed with the service I received. I have a fear of the dentist and was recommended to register with this clinic. I found the dentist to be unfriendly and quite abrupt with me when attending a check up. I made 3 appointments at my time here 2 of which were cancelled VERY last minute on the same day. When i tried to reschedule the wait time for a new appointment was over 3 weeks!! was not a great experience to overcome my anxieties and i have since registered elsewhere.
