The lady at the reception was friendly, kind, and helpful in getting me started. The dentist was very competent and answered my questions patiently. I am delighted to be served by a well-run practice.

Great practice in Edinburgh. I got an appointment to register very quickly and the dentist provided a check up and a teeth clean very quickly and painlessly. The receptionist is super friendly and helpful and they were accommodating for me bringing my newborn to the practice. Would recommend!

Upon registering I was immediately offered an appointment.. Arriving into a spotless and calm waiting room, was ushered into the surgery where, after a very thorough examination, was given a clear description of the required treatment along with some options. The treatment itself was painless, efficient and smoothly carried out. It can't get any better than that! The charming receptionist completed, what was for me. a very enjoyable visit. I highly recommend this practice,

I was helping my mother get a new denture. The doctor explained everything clearly, was patient, and did a great job. Would definitely recommend the practice. Thank you.

THE WORST STAFFFFF!!!!! so unprofessional I arrived a little late to my appointment because of temporary traffic and was driving so I couldn’t phone. As soon as I arrived they all came out and started arguing with me saying I’m not respectful! So unprofessional they could have said it in a more professional way even the doctor came out and argued very very unprofessional do not recommend at all !!!!! No manners no respect no customer care if I could give 0 stars I would!

I have immune system issues and need to be extra careful about infection. I sent the practice a polite email about my circumstances, saying ‘I'd be grateful if you could let me know what infection measures you have, and the number of air exchanges per minute in your treatment rooms? Many thanks for your time.’ The response initially acknowledged my concern; the remainder of the email was unpleasant, saying they weren’t prepared to give me a report on their ventilation and recommended I try registering with another practice that could satisfy my ‘demands.’ I find this to be a disturbing reframing of my request and I didn’t feel comfortable getting into a back and forth with them. I feel it’s important to be transparent and listen to the needs of disabled patients. Sadly, we sometimes slip down the cracks in Government guidelines, and so for care to be equitable, we might need some extra information or an adjustment or two, just as a wheelchair user might need an accessible parking space. Perhaps such requests are tiresome, but I can assure you it is much more wearisome for us to have to make them. I hope this feedback is useful for the practice’s learning and reflection.

I had a toothache for possible root canal treatment or removal (cheaper so he declined) and dentist insisted I tell him what to do, not vice versa. I had this as a cancer patient in The Netherlands and had to override, which is why I survived 3 bouts. He kept insisting I tell him what to do. He also kept telling me to tell him which tooth it is as most dentists do. My whole right lower jaw was aching spreading to the top jaw and eyes and I could not tell. He never bothered to do a simple X-ray to find out. His assistant was very sympathetic and when I left followed me and told me there are many other dentists in Morningside. To identify he was Greek, his assistant also from the Continen so this is to identify as there has been a massive turnover. The practice had been sold by the previous dentist who was great. Current receptionist is Sarah who was abusive, they do not give their last names and did not give her designation. Kindly adhere to GDPR as they enter it in their system. Former receptionist and dentist were great and we discussed his daughter's discipline, and to the then receptionist I explained how she should get the UKG pension, as young and unaware. Reception Sarah should know their rank and should be fired. Delapitated premises and note dentists cannot use the title Dr unlike GPs and lecturers like me. Other patients at Millar Crescent have also complained to me and no longer go. Previously there were two dentists. There are 50 dentists in Edinburgh so boycott. I deregistered then but they had not done so.

My baby had a lump on his palate and the dentist made a plan with me to monitor it. Put the kids at ease. Receptionist gave them toothbrushes, stickers and a teeth brushing reward chart. Thank you!
