Really gone downhill since I last came a few years ago. There are groups of men who split up and linger around the dancefloors watching and waiting for a girl to get so intoxicated they can take advantage of them. Staff do very little to safeguard young women who have clearly just turned 18 and may not realize their alcohol limits yet. Instead of helping intoxicated people I have seen them just get kicked out and separated from their friends, leaving them alone outside and even more vulnerable. I feel like the men who are on their own clearly preying on people (if I noticed the staff should be able to) should be monitored and questioned more by staff. The environment feels a lot less safe than it did when I first started coming her around 8 years ago and I worry for the welfare of young women coming here. On one occasion I told a man who was lingering near a drunk girl on his own to go away and he then went over to another guy who was not standing with him, they grabbed their coats and moved on upstairs. I reported it to staff but they did not seem to care at all. Be careful !! Also cups are disgusting Im sure they barely get a rinse and staff are so rude, I know drunk people can be annoying but remember where you are working! People are here on a night out spending money to have a good time. If you don't enjoy it and can't fake a smile then this isn't the industry for you. The lady on the cloakroom was particularly rude, we got chucked a hanger to hang up our own stuff and she was busy arguing with other staff members about how cold it was. Again I understand if your work conditions aren't up to standard you're not going to be happy, but it's not the customers fault! It's a shame as there isn't many good places for people to go out in the area now, but I would definitely recommend ending your night at the pub and going home- not worth the entry fee!
It is alright to dance,spacious club,good music mostly. Just some visitors appearance and behaviour is shocking... Staff was good,I sat down in booth on my own and few members of staff came over to check of I am ok. Smoking area stinks badly... not only cigaretes...
I would give 0 start if possible as the staff and security were all racist. We went there to celebrate for my birthday but we were all targeted. It all began when we were queuing to get in and one of the security was already being too racist and aggressive to us when we didn’t even do anything! I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND visiting this club. You will have the WORST experience ever!
Cant wear a hoodie to rock night!! Was told it's the law! Biggest load of rubbish I've ever heard, just want to make more money from the cloak room plus bouncers are so rude. Never expected this from rock night!!!! Also if your not a rocker you can wear your hoodie or jacket, if your a blonde skinny girl you can wear what you like and the bouncers will do sod all
Would give 0 stars if possible- positive experiences for over a year until I was accused wrongly of engaging in sexual activity whilst at this establishment. I was actually, and quite clearly, crying to my partner. We were asked to leave and upon our next attempt to enter the establishment refused entry. The security team admitted that we had not committed the criminal offence we had previously been accused of and told us that we could come next week instead. Basically, the security team are completely inadequate. We have witnessed almost completely unconscious women being touched and harassed inappropriately by members of the public without action from security, yet false accusations have stuck against us and have been pursued seriously despite the fact they could be cleared easily by reviewing CCTV
Yesterday went to celebrate New Year’s Eve there and was quite disappointed. Stood in the line for an hour. The security was looking up and down at me purely because I’m a lesbian. Grow up we live in a 21st century. The woman security that searched me bent my cards wallet like what is going through their brain?! Floors were very slippery I saw a lot of people falling. Curve room was rubbish purely because the Jamaican DJ was chatting bare and wouldn’t let the crowd just enjoy the music. Gosh oriental looking dj was even worse. Nobody was dancing because his set was horrible. He gotta go! This was meant to be a ‘neon’ night but there was nothing neon about it! After 1am the music is horrible in every room you go to do not really worth it
Went here for new years eve. We was waiting for an hour to get in even though our ticket said before 11:30pm If you’re going to have specific tickets then don’t sell too much as this is what happens. The security was rude and annoying. The music was up and down. It was good with some songs in Curve mostly but when they switched dj’s it wasn’t great. One of the Dj’s in Curve kept talking which is highly annoying when you just want to listen to the song but at least he had better songs. The other rooms was okay but at one point the music in all three was rubbish so we stood in the corridor. The room in Curve was too hot so it had to keep moving around to different rooms. Overall I had a good night but things could of ran a lot smoother if they we’re organised
I been in this club last Saturday with my husband and 2 girls( friends). This is a nice club but security is so rude with a costumers, they left us to stay outside 30 min ( it’s was -5 degrees) they didn’t let us to go inside for our coats, blonde girl talk with us disagreeable!!!!! She don’t know what is “ COSTUMER SERVICE “. The woman who should look after our coats ( because we paid) she mixed everything there, people waited, she couldn't find anything. I hope the next time when we will go there we will have better experience.
Today was the worst time of my life! The security and the manager were racial to me because I was an Indian. Which did affect me. And I asked the manager to let me in just to get the girls of my group out. But he was inconsiderate enough to not care. I told him to hold my id or send a security with me to get them out. But he paid no heed. I think it should be changed. Because as a manager he needs to understand he have listen to me. I hope I get a response. And also I would like to meet the manager in person.
