Great place to take the kids and it costs nothing play areas for all ages. You can actually buy food from a machine for Β£1 to feed the ducks but watch out for the pigeons there is a small wooded area where the squirrels will come and eat from your hand. The cafe is very reasonably priced and is dog friendly

Always a good time here. The park has lots to offer. Clean. Good vibe especially the butterfly house. We attended a paint in the park , others were on a treasure hunt. Had a bite to eat in Espositos but on this occassion food not so good.. Coffee was like rocket fuel. Very noisy also.. Review your menu.. needs basic options on as well and somethings without bread !

Great park. I play tennis here often, followed by a lovely walk around the lake. I love the variety of birds here. The swans are stunning. Play area and splash pad is great for the kids and always pretty well managed with parents watching their children. Firm favourite place for me.

Victoria Park is truly my favorite park, offering a perfect blend of activities and beauty that makes every visit enjoyable. On our most recent trip, we had an amazing time exploring all the park has to offer. We started with a game of tennis, which is a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors. Afterward, my son had a blast riding his bike along the well-maintained paths, giving him the freedom to explore the park at his own pace. The playground and splash park are fantastic for children, offering a safe and fun environment where they can run around, climb, and cool off on warmer days. It's wonderful to see my son so engaged and happy, surrounded by other children who are just as excited to be there. Esposito's, the on-site cafΓ©, is another highlight of the park. Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack or a more substantial meal, the food is always delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Itβs also a great spot to relax with a coffee while keeping an eye on the kids. The park is well-equipped with clean, accessible toilets, which is always a plus, especially when youβre spending the day with young children. One of the most serene parts of Victoria Park is the lake. It's a beautiful spot to take a stroll or simply sit and take in the peaceful surroundings. The combination of the lively activity areas and the tranquil lake makes the park a perfect destination for families looking to spend quality time together outdoors.

This is a really great park. Lots and lots of grass, a nice play area for kids with a lot of shading and a skate park. It's well maintained. The only downside is the teenagers who tend to hang around on the play area but that's the same with most parks.

Great Park and every Wednesday 12pm until 3pm there is a Wheels for All inclusive cycling in the park near to Esposito's and the band stand.

Great park with almost everything you could ask for. Lake with birds & a fountain, Skate Park, Playgrounds, Splash Pad, Climbing Boulder, Tennis Courts, Bowling Greens, Cafe, Bandstand & usually a Butterfly house (though thatβs closed at the moment I think) Only thing I can mark it down on is the parking. There is no car park so you have to try & find a spot on the surrounding streets which sometimes can be difficult.

Park that has everything. Great water play area for kids, superb cafe near the band stand and an ice-cream and coffee shop at the top end of the park. Skate park with decent ramps for the kids, boulders for climbing, tennis courts, fenced 5 a side pitch, bowling greens, loads of green space, nature trail for walking, big lake with swans and other wildlife, butterfly house and public toilets. Always well maintained and clean. Well worth a visit.
