It's a great place to take your dog if you stay up in the top half of the park. It would be nicer if the kids weren't absolutely wrecking the woodland areas digging holes and creating ramps for their mountain bikes. And it would also be nice if youths didn't light fires in the quarry. Some of the benches have fallen apart and wooden handrails are rotten
Fabulous and beautiful. A bit more information on the history of the quarry would be brilliant as a suggestion. The rubbish from visiters was a let down unfortunately. Kids loved the wildlife and spotting the different trees and birds not a place to go to if you are unsteady on your feet..
It is so stunning. I went there at sunset and wow! The views are amazing and it made me want to stay there it made me feel so happy.
Great place to walk or just let the kids play in the trees. Rock climbing in the quarry if you know what you're doing. There are some lovely walks from Pex Hill into the village of Cronton. Quite a good spot for photography too!

Love taking the dog for a walk here although it is a fairly popular spot. Never very busy but you do see other walkers and not a large space. I always take my GSD down to the Quarry as on 1 exit so I can see if anyone is coming in but I've only ever seen someone else in there once. Good place for me to let her off the lead and throw a ball around.
