You can actually buy food from a machine for £1 to feed the ducks but watch out for the pigeons there is a small wooded area where the squirrels will come and eat from your hand. The cafe is very reasonably priced and is dog friendly”

“Great place to walk or just let the kids play in the trees. Rock climbing in the quarry if you know what you're doing. There are some lovely walks from Pex Hill into the village of Cronton. Quite a good spot for photography too!”

“This was my first visit back to Velocity since the Pandemic, so it was nice to see the changes made to the layout. There is now not just the upstairs area for the grown-ups to sit down, but quite a large seating area downstairs. The kids seemed to love it and there were employees / marshalls that kept an eye on them as they jetted around. My advice would be to come early, since it seems to get very busy from around lunch time. All up, decent place and worth a visit if you want the kids to burn some energy.”

Staff are friendly, especially Lewis (pretty sure it is his name, apologises if not). He is always very friendly and has great customer service.”

Food was good and tasty. Smaller selection for the all you can eat breakfast but was restocked frequently when things ran out and tasted great.”

“The Groom Room are located inside pets at home and provide great service. I took my dog there and he had the best cut he has ever had. The staff where friendly and helpful and gave clear instructions on the procedure. The cost was £45 which was quite high but if you register a card at the main tills you receive your 5th cut free so the cost balances out eventually. Overall I had one happy pooch and will definitely book again. Due to the current pandemic appointment dates are approx 3 weeks wait so book early.”

Big THANK YOU to Michael, when I rang to check where my delivery was he offered to drop off when he finished work. An employee going above & beyond for customer service. Handy shop to have on your doorstep and their own brand Tikka Masala sauce (500g) is excellent - just add spinach and you have a restaurant quality sag curry for 70p a jar!”

“I have read many poor reviews and I have friends who are also with this surgery and heard some poor experiences, but to be honest, they all seem to be over pretty minor points. I can only speak from my own experiences and, on balance, think it's a really good surgery. I had a fairly serious issue on Sunday, on Monday I completed the patches form at 08.00, by 8.30 Dr Sendegeya had phoned me and I had an appointment to see him at 10.30 that morning. By 16.00 I had a call to arrange an MRI for Wednesday, the same week. I couldn't of asked for better care. I think the triage system worked very well for me on this occasion. Long may it continue. Thankyou”

“Long story short, I was having a problem with my Aircon not blowing cool air back in January 24. Took it to a mainstream garage paid a small fortune and packed in again after a week. Took it for a second opinion to an Aircon specialist who said it's my evaporator and will be a big job. Asked at Andy Stockton autocare to have a look, checked over no leaks UV dye added with a regas and brought back a week later to check. No leaks were found Pleased to say it's almost 4 months now and running as cool as the day they did my regas. “I am happy to share my first experience with water nation. We order IBC'S 2-3 per month obviously when you order you can choose the option to arrange a collection of the empty IBC's. Very accessible and straight forward procedure. Exactly that happened: I ordered 3 and asked for a collection of 2 that we had from previous order. In few days - nothing happened, I was already panicking because by that time I had already 4 empty IBC's and no signs of anyone trying to collect them. I called water nation - they arranged everything. I received the confirmation, but it was scheduled for a much later date then we needed. To clarify: 4 empty IBC's are quite big and needs a bit of space + the 5th one that is still full. The entire stress was around a monthly event that we were preparing for. On the event day I needed every single square meter available in our warehouse and around it to have a successful outcome of the event. I called water nation to ask for an earlier IBC collection date. I was very sceptical, it was wednesday, the event was planned for Friday and I literally had to get 4 IBC'S out by Friday. Realistically only Thursday - the only day left to make it possible. I was lucky to speak to Marta! Thank you Marta for your care, it was so much easier just to apologise and say that:"computer says - NO!"!!! - I am so grateful that Marta truly listened to my concern about Fri and how crucial is to have IBC'S collected on Thursday which was literally the next day! I was amazed that she arranged it - I bet it wasn't the easiest thing to do considering that it was needed for the next day + the service should be ordered with a 3rd party company. Marta made it real! Well done! That's not everything, on Thursday when the collection service showed up, I realised that I had to specify the quantity of IBC'S. My initial collection order was for 2 empty IBC'S however on Thursday I had already 4 empty IBC'S. The paperwork clearly showed a collection of 2 from our premises. That's IT! I made this mistake! I will have to support the consequences or just magically have the other 2 bulky massive IBC'S disappear, dissolve, vanish somewhere. With all my stress and full of shame I thought I'll try calling Marta again. Every second was crucial, because by the time I called water nation - the collection staff was wrapping up and making the paper work ready to collect my signature. Amazingly - again Marta listened carefully, She straight away took prompt action with specific instructions for me as a customer. The collection service was already wrapped up, the truck cargo bay was locked and the driver was checking the paperwork to collect my signature. He was explaining that he can't do anything unfortunately and he must collect only the number specified on the paper work - just 2 IBC'S - I don't blame him, the only person to blame was myself. And Guess what?... The driver's phone rang, after a short chat he then happily confirmed that today I'm lucky - and he is happy to collect the remaining 2 IBC's. Everything was Done and arranged within minutes from collection service arrived. Marta arranged it! what I considered impossible - she managed to make it possible! That is a real customer service and customer experience focused employee! All my respect!!! Thank you for that extra mile which clearly made my Thursday and Friday event so much easier to arrange and manage. All Respect Pavel Calenic”

I recommend this pub to anybody, with or without kids..roll on a hot summers day, will be there with a driver who doesn't fancy a drink but loves a day /night out! Photo is a view from the beer garden, plus I believe you can stay here overnight they have rooms.”
