“I've just registered with these vets as I was very unhappy with my previous vets (medivet, scotchbarn lane). The difference in care and helpfulness is unbelievable. From the moment i walked in, my dog was well looked after and fussed over. Receptionist were lovely and helpful and vets are very knowledgeable and caring.”

“A big, well-maintained playground with lovely views of the lawns and football fields next to it. Everything here works, which is definitely not something common.”

“It is a small playground but it is clean and tidy, kids also have access to a football court, you just need a ball. Parking on street. It’s in a quiet area so it’s nice to enjoy a little nature and relax.”

“A little Indian restaurant in Prescot. There's loads of free parking just around the corner. The menu is extensive and the service is excellent. They don't have a licence, so bring your own booze. The Pepsi is served in cans The food is fresh, hot and bloody tasty with decent sized portions 3 meals, 6 poppadoms with dips, 2 cans of Pepsi £58”

“A lovely green space in the middle of town maintained and operated by volunteer Friends of Eaton Street Park and the Town Council. A friendly cafe operates in the summer at weekends and various events held throughout the year. A credit to the town and all the volunteers”

“I've been going to 183 Dental for years now. I'm a really anxious patient. I fidget a lot due to neck pain and I hate needles!! Both David and Emma have been extremely calming and reassuring throughout any treatment that I've had from either of them. My most recent visit was for a check-up with Emma and she was just as amazing as always. She was very attentive, frequently checking in to make sure I was comfortable, especially with my neck. I've had a bad experience with being given anaesthetic in the past (not @ 183!!), but David really took the time to walk me through the procedure while numbing my mouth, making sure I felt no pain whatsoever. The atmosphere in the waiting room and the surgeries is always quiet and tranquil, which really helps ease any nerves if you're a nervous patient. The staff are friendly, which adds to the overall sense of comfort. I highly recommend this practice to anyone.”

“I’ve been going to nicks chippy for many years, and I can honestly say I’ve never been to a better chippy! The chips are always fresh unlike most places! Also the salt and pepper box is amazing! The meat there is always perfectly cooked and tastes unreal! Great value for money & the staff are always really friendly! If you haven’t tried this place you need to! You won’t be disappointed!”

“Great afternoon out at the safari park. We braved to baboons (our car got off lightly but we did see quite a bit of damage to other cars so beware). The sea lion show is well worth a watch. If you get chance go through the drive through safari at different times as we did see some animals we didn't see the first time round.”

“First time I’ve been here, the staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly chatty and funny young ladies, would recommend just for the service, but the food was good too. I only had a jacket potato but staff were more than happy to alter the menu to suit me, choc cake and cream was gorgeous!! Will definitely come back, staff are a credit to establishment.”
