“What a beautiful peaceful place. Didn't know it existed. We were taken here by a friend we were visiting in the area. Boats ducks swans and even A heron were amongst the views. It was A beautiful sunny day too which made it even better. There's a cabin type thing for food drinks ice cream. The strawberry ice cream was amazing. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.”

“Small but beautifully formed. A great place for a quick walk beside the Mersey maybe on your lunchbreak. The gardens were opened in1903 paid for by two local JPs according to the plaque which I've posted in the photos.”

“This is officially my favourite for when I'm parked up in widnes for work. Ordered least 3 times and thought, give a shout out whilst annoying a co-worker of what's for dinner. I'm not sure if justeat is having technical issues, but this is the second time they haven't alerted me on the update on the order (separate restaurant). But this time, the chap who delivered the food surprised me when he turned up unexpectedly and early none the less. Chips were fresh, hot, and had flavour. Salt pepper chicken is crispy but soft. It's not extremely spicy either. Not big fan on spice, but this is done perfectly. The chicken wrap was the win. Enjoyed and will return.”

“As a paramedic on shift I visited during work for a coffee, staff served me very fast and was polite. I got a salted caramel iced coffee and it was very refreshing. Reasonable price also. I didn’t get food this time but I’ve had food in the past and it as you would expect from a costa coffee”

“Large spacious store with lots of goodies food ,cleaning stuff, appliances, furniture and fabric goods frozen foods a small amount of process foodstuffs (ham/cheese) but not much fresh meats... lots of parking trollies usually don't need a token can be sparce if busy”

“I attended boots pharmacy in Widnes last week to speak to the pharmacist. The pharmacist was so helpful, knowledgeable and provided me with the medication I needed which got me on the mend in no tim! I have never used this service before but will do going forward. It beats trying to get through to the doctors.”

“A great place to go to keep kids entertained and the adults well fed. The food is amazing and the prices are good too especially for the food portions. Honestly would highly recommend jellybeans play centre. Kids have a fabulous time playing all day long with other kids. The place is clean and staff are very attentive. Couldn't fault them.”

“Great gym great people, the gym is spacious and a lot of great machines, if you want a great PT then ask for my mate Dan leatham he’s a great guy and has great knowledge for losing weight, just started here but I used to use him in pure gym and he’s unreal and I lost a load of weight with his help, such a nice person and doesn’t push you like normal PTs Highly reccomended”

“Last month I had the misfortune of filling my diesel car with £20 of unleaded... Once I had stopped my internal berating I popped in to see the manager to let him know i would be blocking his pump for a while. I can honestly say that man is a credit to the Tesco brand. He was symptathic and helpful, we pushed my vehicle to the back of the station to remove it from the forecourt and he fetched myself and my wife a coffee, offered us his assistance any way he could, he genuinely eased my concern and deserves commendation for his attitude, thoughtfulness and customer service. Sadly I did not write his name down but if anyone from Tesco read this they need to pass on this review. A* service.”
