One of my favourite cafes for sure. Discovered this while looking for niche perfume stores in scotland and was pleasantly surprised by the range they carry. They have so many amazing brands and a lot of them were already on my radar anyway so it was great being able to sniff them in person. Also a huge hojicha fan and the first time I came here a few months ago I ordered their hojicha latte and it wasnβt quite up to what I like but maybe itβs cause I prefer my hojicha latte to have a darker roast. Recently though I tried their hazelnut foam hojicha and it was genuinely amazing. The hazelnut and oatmilk really brings out the nuttiness in hojicha I would def order this again when I come back.

I am genuinely in love with Godshot. After my first visit, it quickly entered my coffee shop rotation (along with Amulet, Zennor, and Kahawa Mzuri) and I have been back a number of times. The place is immaculate and serves a ever-rotating selection of speciality coffee and drinks. I am constantly impressed by the wide range of espressos from various roasters, it feels quite cliche to say, but there really is a flavour profile that would suit everyone. The staff are absolutely fantastic and are, of course, polite and friendly, but really show they understand great service in how helpful they are, and actually do try and connect with customers on a human level rather than being nice for the sake of it. They are efficent when the place is busy, but still make time for each customer, and allow themselves to connect more when its a bit quieter, which really shows they are comfertable in what they do. Godshot is much more than just coffee however, as they also offer homeware, beauty and fragerence products, and macrons. It totally fits the space and the ethos of the shop, and is just refreshing from the point of view of giving you something to browse while you wait for your coffee rather than staring aimlessly at your phone, even if it means you need to use all of your will power to stop you from buying the Malin + Goetz cannabis parfume that you constantly convince yourself that you need. This review is already far too long and I have just scratched the surface of why Godshot is one of my favorite spots in the southside. If you havent been, go. Take the plunge. You will find a new favorite spot if you do.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for great matcha in Glasgow - very new and inventive flavours! The pandan & coconut matcha and the apple pie matcha were highlights and their macarons are some of the best Iβve ever had. The black sesame & caramel macarons and the hong kong macarons were my personal favourites. The staff are also very lovely and the mugs/cups on sale in the shop are very unique if youβre looking for fun gifts!

Tiramisu basque is super yum. Not too sweet and has a balance between the cheesy flavor and tiramisu. The pandan matcha has a strong pandan initial taste, followed by an authentic matcha aftertaste.

A true gem! Everything from the coffee to the black sesame cheesecake we tried was 5 stars! The coffee was top quality and the dessert super fresh! A very nice and zen place with lots of nice products to buy as well. One of the absolute best cafes in Glasgow.

Been going here for 4-5 months now. Can safely say that this is my favourite and the best Japanese style cafe in Glasgow. Cakes are awesome, prices for the drinks are actually really good for what it is. Especially when they use loose tea left, not tea bags!

One can find many places for good coffee, but only few for an exceptional coffee experience. Godshot is the place for the exceptional. From the moment you enter the place you feel the passion thatβs been put into it. You can see how invested they are in it. When it comes to coffee, the experience is just not like any other place. You can notice their passion in everything from choosing the beans, making your cup of coffee, and serving it. I appreciate how detailed oriented, well-informed and knowledgeable they are. You can sense that passion in the pastries too, beautifully crafted and amazing flavors. These are different, artistic and really enjoyable. Godshot is one unique must-visit place.
