   I live near London but I try to have my hair cut at Salon Fairnington whenever I’m in Scotland and I can get an appointment.The cut is great. Also there is such a warm and friendly atmosphere in the salon. Can’t recommend too highly

   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I visited Farington Salon while on tour from Australia for the Edinburgh Fringe, and I recommend it this place. I wanted to neaten my hair for up and coming performances and decided to go for a spiral perm to tighten my curls. The hair professional wasn’t just skilled but also created a warm, family-like environment that instantly puts you at ease. I enjoyed a lovely cup of tea and a biscuit!. The conversation flowed easily, making my time there feel like a catch-up with friends rather than just a salon visit. Farington Salon is wonderful for everyone—whether you're a young person, middle-aged, or an elder.    Ruined my hair. She attempted to add layers but it was cut far too short - it was like I had 2 different haircuts. I cried. I went to another hairdresser and they couldn't believe how badly it was cut I had to lose a lot of my hair length to blend in the new "layers" to create a cohesive style.

   I have anxiety and my first time at this hairdressers and my experience and customer care services was nothing more than amazing these women really know how to make you feel so welcome they made me feel like a new woman my condolences went from zero to ten I will never go anywhere else and they made me feel special thanks so much for given me my live back and my hair was nothing less than perfect

   I'm not giving the two stars about the experience, the ladies at the salon are actually very lovely. Unfortunately, the haircut was not. I came in with a photo of myself with some well done round layers I wanted back, but I left with a strange mess of a very thick front layer. The scissors they used weren't sharp enough either as my hair started tangling the next day at the very ends. So now I will have to wait for my hair to grow out a little and get the cut fixed somewhere else.

   This salon is FAB! Joanne is so attentive my hair is a nightmare long, thick & Caribbean however I came away with hair cut & permed Omg it was amazing & price fantastic thanks to Joanne & her amazing staff! Highly recommended!!
