Great place to stop of for lunch after doing a long walk in the area. We have been a few times now. The prices are so reasonable and the food is lovely. The best sweet potato and chilli soup I have ever had.

I had Lentil soup and a tuna sandwich, it was so delicious I forgot to take a picture till I was nearly finished! Service was welcoming and helpful. Good selection of food and cakes.
Traditional tearoom / cafe. Food is good and the cakes are amazing. It's quite small, so not a lot of tables. Can you sit outside in the summer.
Just to say thank you so much for ma wee mum n dad's valentine lunch which you very kindly provided it was so lovely and ma wee mum who has advanced alzheimer's thoroughly enjoyed it and ma wee dad who's 83 was delighted with it so thanks again from all the family your kindness was truly appreciated
Nice quiet traditional coffee shop / cafe. Well done food at a resonance price. Limited seating and can at certain tines be busy. Always a takeaway option. Great cakes and even better service. Parking in the square.

Visited back in September, so the review is about 2 months late. Came in for a coffee as I was passing through Strathaven. The outside of the house is very eye catching with a mock Tudor design. The interior is much more modern, like a traditional tea room. As for the latte. It wasn't hot enough and it took a few minutes to drink, which is fast for me. The coffee tasted fine, just nowhere near hot like it should be. Unfortunately I'd already went back to my car before I realised the coffee wasn't hot enough and in fairness, the cafe didn't have a chance to correct the problem.
