   Coffee was very poor. Shots of coffee were very thin, more like filter coffee than espresso. On top of that the cappuccino milk/foam was way to hot, burn the mouth hot. Very disappointing for a cafe., coffee staff need more training in espresso extraction. 2 stars because the food was good even as the kitchen was busy and the only saving grace.

   This is a lovely place, bacon roll was lovely and my tea came in a pretty pot/ cup combo with matching milk jug, 1 criticism I like my tea stronger so I like the tea bags in the pot when the water is poured in.

   All ages welcome to a friendly place with kind staff. Staff cannot do enough for making you feel welcome. Lovely meals and homemade soups. Clean and inviting. I never miss my weekly visits.

   First visit to this fantastic little cafe in Carluke and definitely won't be the last. A warm and friendly welcome from the staff and quick service too. I felt guilty for only wanting a bacon roll to take out as the food on offer sounded very tempting. Next visit I will definitely have something more substantial and maybe get to try one of the mouth-watering sandwiches. Nice and clean inside and the staff cleared and cleaned the tables as they became empty. I'll definitely be back.
