   I never give reviews but unfortunately the service I have received here has been so poor that I have been forced to. I pre-purchased 3 LED light therapy with pure recently and have attended 2. Both of these experiences were very average but I did get a good deal so I was satisfied. My third appointment was cancelled via email about an hour before I was due to attend. After speaking with Lucy (who is the area manager) via email we discussed arranging another appointment which I had to postpone due to sickness. It is impossible to reach this branch by phone so I emailed Lucy to arrange this. She never replied. I therefore went into the branch to book my next appointment. I received a confirmation email and a reminder on the day but when I came, the whole place was closed. I tried to call the Lothian road branch but nobody answered. I popped in a few days later and was told that as the beauticians are self employed, they regularly leave without letting the customer know. The girl was very understanding but told me that there was a possibility that this may happen again. The details were again passed to Lucy, who was due to contact me but after a week and a number of unanswered calls later, I haven’t received any resolution or a new appointment. I still have a pre paid appointment but I have completely lost confidence in this place and don’t want to go again.

   The worst service and worst treatment they never change! This is the second time I’ve had a problem with them. Every time, they book me for the wrong service, and this time they even booked me at another branch without informing me. I had to pay for Uber twice, and when I arrived, they had again booked the wrong service. I told them I no longer want any services with them because I’ve had a bad experience before. With the service I did before and now this issue, I asked them to refund the remaining balance on my gift card they said they would contact me, but no one has reached out so far. I even sent an email, but no one replied. On top of that, they deducted an amount from my gift card for a service I never received. Very poor service

   Met with the lovely Devin today who settled me in. Once she was ready I was taken the room where the environment immediately began to calm and relax me. I recieved a deluxe massage and facial from Devin. It was amazing, she knows all the right spots, the right amount of pressure and technique. She was amazing with her hands and checked in with me along the way to make sure i was ok. I felt like I was transported to another world, and now leaving here I immediately want to go back. Thank you so much Devin for a wonderful end to my stay in Edinburgh.

   I recently went to Pure Spa for a laser treatment and had a wonderful experience. The therapist was professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything well, which made me feel comfortable. The place was clean and relaxing, and the treatment went smoothly. I am really impressed with the quality of service. Highly recommend Pure Spa!

   I am always made to feel very welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and Lucy makes me feel completely at ease. It's a real treat getting my nails done. Lucy is an amazing artist and therapist. I always feel on top of the world when I leave.

   Waited over an hour for my pedicure appointment to start and then didn't receive the full service I paid for. I booked and paid for the Tranquil service but received the Essential one. After waiting an hour, the pedicure was absolutely not worth my time or money. The water in the tub was almost at room temperature when it started and was cold by the end. They had no quick dry products or fans meaning I had to wait with my feet out in a cold room for the polish to dry during winter in Scotland. The lady told me it'd be dry after 10/15 minutes which I knew wasn't true, but she waited around as if I was taking too long so I put my shoes on and left. Obviously the polish was smudged by the time I got home. I was in touch with the manager after she read my online feedback as nobody in the spa seemed to be bothered by me waiting over an hour. I also asked the lady if I received the Tranquil service before I left and she said I did... I wasn't even asking for the full refund (literally just a £10 difference) but apparently being refunded for services I didn't receive is still too much to ask for as I didn't hear from her when she said she would call, followed up and was told she was out of office and would get back to me the next day, but never heard from her again. I thought I could get in touch with the customer service email on their website, but still nothing. My appointment was almost 2 weeks ago so they've probably figured if they leave it long enough, I'll stop bothering them. By far the worst customer experience I have received.

   I received a facial from Sally and can honestly say it's one of the best I've ever had. Everyone at the spa is so friendly and welcoming. Sally was so accommodating and managed to fit me in last minute. When I arrived she made me feel at ease straight away. The facial was amazing, I felt so relaxed and pampered and my skin feels great after it! Will definitely be back to visit Sally :)

   Staff are really welcoming, friendly and cater to all your needs. I had a facial which included a salt scrub, face mask, various serums and a brief but relaxing head massage. The facilities are good with private rooms for your treatment to take part in. Overall it was an excellent experience and I recommend to anyone wanting some skin care.
