Loved the service, was here for a 50th party. Busy and never had to wait long for drinks and the girls soon knew what I wanted when walking towards bar. Lovely place.

There was 9 of us, service was great but the food was cold, steakpie was tough, so did not enjoy it.

Really affordable local pub with friendly staff. Pleasantly surprised with the price of a pint.

I purchased 4 tickets for the Weavers 16/17 Hogmanay bash . When I handed my £40 to the barman 2 weeks before the event he did not supply me with tickets, just wrote some of my details in a log book. I even asked about tickets and he said they were not required. When I got to the pub on New Year's Eve the doorman said we were not on the list! After a lot of carry on and discussion causing people to look over, stare and heckle, my name was eventually located in a book. Even at this point I was still quizzed about the whereabouts of our tickets which we had never recieved!! It was extremely embarrassing. We decided to get a refund and go elsewhere. My friends, who had purchased tickets separately were given a refund on the spot. I was refused as the owner said it would require 'further investigation.' I have since called the pub and left my contact details with no response. I have been into the pub and spoken with bar staff who were very polite but stated the owner must deal with my refund. The problem is that the owner has another business and is difficult to track down. As far as I am concerned I have had £40 stolen from me. There seems to be a clear lack of communication within the pub and I have been left with no alternative other than to phone the police and trading standards. I have just moved to the area and had hoped to use the pub as my local but judging on first impressions I will be avoiding at all costs.
