   A great local pub. I was lucky enough to see Billy Connolly perform at the "Sarry Heid" as a youngster many years ago. We went back recently (having moved away years ago) and wasn't disappointed. The pub still retains its character, which is fantastic. But, it can get a little loud and crowded on game day.

   Used to be a great local bar now it's converted into a Celtic bar. It's been completely renovated and has lost its old world charm. Used to be a favorite spot for a drink but now it's just another Celtic bar.

   Never left an online review before but felt I had to for this gem of a pub. Not only the best pint of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland but hands down one of the best pints I've ever had. We spent a Saturday afternoon here. The bar itself is a proper old pub that oozes character and the barman/owner is an absolute gentleman. Will be back and sooner the better.
