   Excellent dog friendly facilities with towels for mucky paws, blankets for sleeping on, a stack of water bowls and free treats. Really welcoming. Friendly staff and efficient service. Reasonable veggie options with the halloumi flatbread being really tasty. We had a 40% off mains voucher, so our lunch was super cheap, making it absolutely brilliant value. Very clean, even in the doggie area.

   We had a lovely first experience at the old gatehouse as a family to celebrate my mums birthday. Our waitress Sarah was super cheery and even went the extra mile to put a few candles on a desert for mum! Food was all lovely and very fairly priced, a great place for families! Thanks again Sarah

   Staff are welcoming, you don't feel rushed, its a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was lovely, freshly made couldn't fault it. I'd say prices were a bit high but it's the same every where you go these days. We will definitely be back although probably not until next month after payday.

   From the minute we entered I loved it! The staff are SO nice and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The courses were swift but not rushed. The meal was plentiful and tasted lovely. I've never eaten out for Xmas but I was blown away with this experience, well done guys and thankyou again.

   Lovely pub, friendly staff with great food. It has a cosy feel with real fire place and the new manager is getting the place even more welcoming to dogs! They’ll be launching a dog menu very soon, very excited to bring my pup to try it!

   The staff were very helpful and respectfully came over to ask if you were ok and if you wanted anything else. The food was great. I had fish and chips, followed by my favourite sticky toffee pudding with a dollop of ice cream yum yum. I would definitely be recommend the Old Gatehouse to everyone.
