I first went to Goll in 2001 when I moved to Edinburgh having searched for a classic men's barber. I have continued ever since so I'm sad that they are now closing. George and Nicholas have cut my hair very well over the years, but also they are good people. All the best guys.

Excellent, no nonsense traditional barbers giving you a really good haircut and at a very reasonable price. One need look no further, and certainly not to various establishments charging much more and for less satisfactory results. Traditional ambience too - the shop is very long-established...they even use a wooden till (cash only).
Fantastic haircut. Friendly staff, walk in (no appointment needed) and no wait time whatsoever. Just popped in on the off chance as we were visiting Edinburgh at short notice and I'd forgotten to have my hair cut at home. If I didn't live over 300 miles away I'd definitely go back!
