Very good place, professional barber, I really like my haircut which barber done. A+ My haircut: skin fade on the sides, then number 1 with machine, and scissors on the top- 22£

On a business trip, on the cusp decided to get a trim and ended up at The Turks Head. Absolutely brilliant, no cuts from a full head shave; I went in at 17:45, it closes at 18:00, I left at 18:35, with a firm hand shake and a happy smile. Thoroughly recommended, will definitely go there again.

Great barbers. Neo did a fantastic job of my son’s hair and listened to what style he wanted. My son was delighted! Now to wash the pen off his face!

Great experience with my very nervous 4 year old. Evern made my son very relaxed and listened to what I wanted for the cut. My son left very happy with no hair down his neck.

hadn't been into the Turks Head in years and was pleasantly surprised on arrival at what the guys had done with the place -modern and welcoming. Despite some of the reviews I've read on here I got a really good haircut, ample conversation and offered cup of coffee. the customer service was great and the haircut better.

Quite possibly the worst experience and haircut I've ever had at a barbers shop. The shockingly bad experience lasted less than 5 minutes and to my horror, when I looked up to check my hair, one side was so bad I have had to buzz cut my hair back to a #2 when I returned home. The barber also took it upon himself to shave my eyebrows which is not something I requested or desired. The one star review is 20% more than they deserve for that shambolic display of customer service and haircutting skills. Honestly believe my child could have done a better job and at £18 I will most definitely not be re-visiting this establishment which a shame when supporting local businesses is in everyone's best interests.

Young guy in dreadlocks was awful. Didn’t know what he was doing and was digging into skin when cutting hair. Cared more about being fast than giving decent haircut.

Despite the name, this was not a good Turkish barber experience. No hair wash, no ear flaming, no eyebrow trim, no product on my hair at the end. The barber did not properly wrap my neck so I was itching from bits of hair afterwards. The cut was okay for what was the fastest hair cut I've ever had - 9 minutes - but the experience was poor and the price excessive.

I’ve been coming here for a very long time. The owner is a fantastic guy who is always smiling and extremely friendly. Not only that… the haircuts you receive are very professional. They spend a lot of time on your hair which is exactly what you want. I get a skin fade majority of the time which has been perfect every time. I would definitely recommend this place to all. I would strongly agree that this barber is in the top 3 best barbers in Edinburgh, Scotland.
