   I’m a regular at Venus nails and the guy who does my nails always does a great job. The shape is perfect and I’m never dissapointed. He also is very understanding with appointment times as I struggle to come in early with work. Thanks Venus nails :).

   Just walk in today, shop is clean, have various colors to choose, get complimentary drinks and staff is friendly. Most important is the nails is awesome. Definitely go back

   I’ve always had a really good experience at Venus, been going for 4 years and staff always friendly. The lady who did my nails today was so rude. I asked to change the colour after she painted one coat on two nails, this seemed to create such a drama. I also asked if she could do a third coat on one toenail as I had a bruise and two coats hadn’t fully covered it. Again, what a drama. She was pushing and pulling my feet, filing too hard and without a care, and yanked the toe separators out so aggressively. She was clearly really angry. She spent about 10 mins in total on the nails. I get it’s a budget nail place and people have bad days but I’ve never had this experience at Venus before, won’t be back :(

   Always had a good experience at Venus until today! Wanted biab removal and ombre French but girl assumed my own nails were acrylic and chopped them all back! Was too late by time I noticed. Ended up short, gel French manicure which on examination now im home, is badly filed and finished. Then I was charged £39. Bit cheeky really. Will stick to Heaven in Musselburgh now.

   I have used venus nails for a while now & get my nails done every 4 weeks. The 1st few time where great but then we started having to wait longer & longer because they also allow walk ins. even tho we always booked an appointment prior to going they never stuck to the time because they had so many people in and not enough staff to cover the 5 chair's they had people in. The whole time your nails where being done it was never with the same staff member from beginning to end u were guaranteed to have had every staff member do something to you. They hopped back and forth to cram in as many customers as possible. An appointment that should take an hr never took any less than 2 and a half to 3 and a half plus. My daughter only had her acrylics removed & that took an hr and a half again because they were jumping between customer's. Would I recommend them .... the short answer is definitely not!!! As the old saying goes u get what u pay for, the difference is they aren't cheap either so you really would expect a far better service. 2 customers lost but I'm sure they will have alit more walk in that we won't be a massive loss.

   I loved the place the first time I did my manicure, pedicure, the service was wonderful. A week after I brought my daughters in for pedicure because I expected the same service. The same staff who fixed my nails did for one of my daughter and it was brilliant, my second daughter got a new staff who had no clue of what she was doing and really a joke for 35 quid. I had done reservations for the same staff to do both pedi but obviously it seemed it was more first come first serve which is okey but should be mentioned when booking appointments 3 days in advance and they accepted. Disappointed ☹️
